“The hotel was ok.I was wondering why my room was not cleaned in my absence. I didn’t receive any room service in the period of time of my visit. In all other hotels, a daily room service is provided, without any indication of the hotel visitors. Disappointed.”

“Lots of great things about this hotel! But I feel I first need to warn guests about the chlorine level in the hot tub...strong enough to bleach our black swim suits brown & grey! Strong enough that after taking showers with soap, we could still smell it on our skin. ⚠️ Now for the positives...
PROS
*Easy to find, right off the freeway
*Quiet hotel and well-insulated rooms
*Very clean, even the floors in the room! ? (and no in-room carpeting!)
*Glass elevator with beautiful view of the pool area
*Friendly, smiling, helpful staff
*Registration desk is easy in/out & nearby, which helps if you're mobility challenged
*Fresh fruit and fruit-infused water are complimentary in the lobby
*Free continental breakfast with hard boiled eggs, PB/toast, croissants, oatmeal, bagels, fruit, cereal, juice, etc.
*Pool was not cold, not too warm, and all ours!
*Ample free parking with spaces big enough to open car doors comfortably, well-lit lot
*Spacious suite-style room was a pleasant surprise
*HUGE, gorgeous full-length mirror
*Coffee maker, iron/board, fridge, blow dryer in room
*Loveseat in living area was super cozy & comfy
*Light fixtures on night stands were cute & modern, touch sensitive which was easy, with Edison bulbs
*Rain shower head was high and wide
*Bathroom had 2 sinks, a nice luxury!

...and just a few
CONS
*Hot tub capacity is 2
*Hot tub waaay too chlorinated, to "unsafe levels"
*Water fountains shown on website were empty, which was disappointing since that aesthetic was one reason we chose the hotel
*The chargers in the cool night stand lights don't work (the cord falls out, so it can't charge anything) and the outlets are either full or not conveniently located. For instance, 2 sinks in the bathroom, but only 1 outlet ?
*Orange juice at continental breakfast tasted cheap, like Tang or Sunny D. They'd be better off buying higher quality OJ and watering it down”

“This was my first time ever axe throwing and it was so much fun! Friendly, informative staff, clean venue, and a music playlist to get you in the zone. Felt kind of like bowling where everyone is pretty bad and that's OKAY! When you do land on the target it is so satisfying and made me feel very strong!”

“I highly recommend this event venue for anyone looking for a great experience. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating, making sure that everything runs smoothly. The location is also fantastic, with easy access and plenty of parking. The real star of the show, however, is the patio. It's spacious, comfortable, and provides the perfect atmosphere for any event. Overall, this venue is a top-notch choice for anyone looking to host an unforgettable event.”

“Blanco Urban is an ideal wedding venue choice! As a photographer I was blown away by how well the venue photographed. Its white walls did wonders with the light throughout the day, from bright sun to golden hour. This venue is perfectly modern and chic for a luxury wedding. The staff was responsive and kind. Its great to be able to go down to the street and capture chic city photos as well!”

“We recently stayed at Stanford Park Hotel for a business trip and our experience was nothing but spectacular. The coordination with Lauren prior to our arrival was simple, quick, and seamless. Upon arrival, the front desk team was very warm and welcoming - an excellent 1st impression. My room was available quickly and as the event host, I was greeted with a fresh fruit tray. The room was gorgeous, quiet, and extremely clean. We checked out the courtyard area by the firepits and the ambiance was unforgettable. Last but not least, the location is great. It's walkable to the Stanford Park shopping center and nearby offices. We just booked another hotel room block. It's our go to spot!”

“The garden is well-maintained and clean. The ticket price is a little high given the size of the garden, but this is about as authentic as one could get, some might argue it's better than what you can find in SF Japan town. Please check the season or call ahead before you visit, don't come and then find out the season for cherry blossom has passed already.”

“Beautiful event venue! We attended an outdoor wedding here and I was a bit worried because it was outdoors and not sure about the weather, etc but it was absolutely perfect. There were about 100 guests so it was someone intimate but this place did a great job with the deco, service, care for guests, making sure the bride and groom were well taken care of and overall a great wedding experience. We can’t wait to come back and explore the grounds. Book your special event here today!”

“Kids and I loved the recliners! The theaters were extremely clean and the snack bar was stocked and the line moved quickly. We watched an employee go above and beyond to help someone with a disability get their tickets and snacks, and it was so cool to see.”

“I have attended many functions at the Santa Clara convention center. The venue is very well run with nice space for large events. Parking is very convenient and it is located near multiple freeways. Although it's a little bit far from me, I don't mind driving to events at the convention center.”

“This park is great and there is something for all ages to enjoy. I like hiking, bird watching, and photography, and I can all enjoy them here. There are restaurants and parking spaces here. Many people enjoy sailing and kayaking here. Watching them play is very eye-catching. If I have time, I would like to come here to play.”

“Steve Meyberg and Gunther's Catering were wonderful to work with. We held a Mardi Gras-themed luncheon for 116 at the Saratoga Foothlll Club and Steve provided a salad course of baby lettuces, tiny heirloom tomatoes, and spiced pecans with basalmic viniagrette, delicious sourdough bread and butter, and yummy traditional (chicken, shrimp, Andouille sausage) and vegetarian jambalayas over New Orleans-style "dirty" rice. His staff was professional and his decaf coffee was good. The salads were cold and crisp and the jambalaya hot with just the right spice level. We received many compliments on the event and everyone enjoyed the food.”

“We had our Wedding reception here and It honestly was the first venue we toured and I just new it was what we were looking for. Vivian was super amazing with the tour and the day of our wedding. We transformed it into our Cinderella fairytale and it just was everything we hoped and dreamed of! Will definitely be booking again for future events.”

“We just had an archery birthday party (10 kids total, ages 9-11yrs) with Coach Chris and it was fantastic. All the kids had a positive and unforgettable experience.Helpful tips:- We reserved and communicated with Maestro Dan the owner about 5 months in advance. He was extremely patient and responsive whenever we had a question. You could probably get away with making a reservation later but I needed a specific date or it wasn’t going to happen.- Their webpage for special events is thorough and has all the information you need so be sure to read it carefully.- You’re given 10 minutes to setup food/decorations before guests are allowed to arrive so it helped to keep it simple. It’ll actually save you time with clean up at the end. Ultimately the kids were having too much fun with the archery to notice anything else anyway.- Food: City Pizza next door was a solid and super convenient option. Picked it up about 45min into the group lesson. There’s also a Safeway across the street if you need anything else.- After the 1hr archery lesson we had 30 minutes to eat, celebrate, cleanup, and get out of there. Our advice would be to watch your time and be sure you’re out of the building when agreed upon. It is primarily a place for learning/classes so to show respect for the space try to leave it as clean if not cleaner than you found it. We were in a rush at the end and decided to just do the cupcakes tailgate style in the parking lot. It was a beautiful day and worked out perfectly plus less mess inside.Instruction: 10 kids with bows and arrows sounds daunting but Coach Chris walked them through all the safety measures before they were allowed to touch any of the equipment. 1 hour isn’t nearly enough time to capture the nuances of the sport but once Chris set the foundation of safety/etiquette they all were able to get a lot of rounds of target practice.Definitely worth considering if you want something unique/fun/educational for your group. My wife and I are thinking of going back to try it ourselves. ?”

“We have been members of the Capital Club for a good while now. We always enjoy the atmosphere. Today, I had the Vietnamese Garlic Noodles with added shrimp. My drink was a Prosecco. I am not a white wine drinker because it gives me headaches but the Prosecco the club serves is one of the best I have tasted.”

“This is one of the greatest community centers in Palo Alto. Everybody is so nice and friendly. Can't wait to go back to pre-Covid19 days where everyday and every week there is an event planned out by this community center. Good old days. Please get the Adas Cafe in the community center more active. We all miss the options of walking out of library or the community center and grab a cold or hot drink with a dessert or a small bite. Thank for your work Mitchell Park Community Center.”

“I find the docents at the Ainsley House very friendly, knowledgeable and very passionate about sharing historical information about this beautiful home located in downtown Campbell.I have been here at Christmas time and every room has a Christmas tree and well decorated by different organizations or individuals. They have two nights were you can visit the beautiful gift shop and enjoy appetizers and wine.Really well done and so magical!”

“I have to say that I came in with high expectations that were not met, but overall the experience was still very good. I was under the impression that the faculty club would have a bit more of a luxurious vibe to it and feature interesting cuisines, but the reality is more of a log cabin vibe with standard fare. It's a nice space sure, but it doesn't live up to the hype. My burger was solid & so was my lemonade, but I wouldn't make it a point to come back. Amazing service though!”

It's a space that fosters creativity and dialogue. Whether you're an art enthusiast or just looking for a unique cultural experience, the New Museum Los Gatos is a must-visit destination.”

“Went for a comedy taping. Venue is small enough to feel intimate. Restrooms have good flow and it's easy to get in and out. It's there 2 auditoriums here perhaps? It seemed much smaller than when I saw Chelsea Handler here.”

“The last time I was here was about 4 years ago for the Crunchy Roll Anime Expo.I was recently here for the California Dental Association (CDA) Convention, it was the Art+Science of Dentistry Event. I had attended with the office I work with, and it was very fun and didn't know what to expect! There were 3 lectures we had to attend for licensing credits which was awesome! A total of 6 credits. The best lecture had to be with speaker Dr. Uche Odiatu, DMD. The exhibit hall had many booths, most giving out free swag. I can't wait for more dental conventions and making connections. A few downsides ~~ 1. There weren't many options for food. 2. The parking fee is pretty steep ~ was $25.00 for the whole day. 3. You have to check in/out with your badge for each lecture - can be a bit of a wait.”
