“I started coming to LBM in 2022 after I moved to the area. I’ve been practicing meditation for 10+ years. The teachers at LBM are unlike any I’ve ever met. They teach with great compassion and love. The wisdom and insight they possess is truly inspiring and transformative.
Long Beach meditation is a place for both new meditator’s as well as longtime practitioners.
Additionally, the teachers and members of this organization have become like a family to me. Everyone is so warm and welcoming.

“Amazing experience, came because I was referred here due to an awesome kid program (babies to high schoo)l and stayed for the people. Has great worship, sermons, a mom's group, a grief group, men's and women's Bible studies, Wednesday night and Sunday morning kids programs plus lots of opportunities to give and participate in local outreach. It's a big church but once you get plugged in somewhere it'll start to feel like home. ❤”

This year has been a year of FAITH AND GROWTH for my family. I was invited to this church by a very young coworker a whole 10yr gap sit between us but god knew I needed this opportunity. My first service was so peaceful and I felt filled with gratitude. Pastor Kimberly is so warm and inviting, makes you feel right at home. The staff that watches over the little ones was also very kind. Amber was so kind and helpful, she took the time to show us around and watched over my little one. “It was my first time to go to the first Friday mass in this church, and I didn't know that the school children go to the Friday mass as well. These good kids reminded me of when my sisters and I were in private Catholic school years ago. It brought back some good memories. The church is nice, and the mass was solemn. The priest gave a meaningful homily that the kids will remember.”

“I feel so sad about the sudden passing away of Fr. Perez, he started this church. But his death did not amount to nothing. It only flourished more the old traditional way of saying Mass. “The church is under new "management" since the last reviews on this page and is no longer called "La Mirada Christian Church" , it is not just "La Mirada Church" and is now lead by Pastor Joe Barsha... He has taken (along with the help of many loving and caring members) the church from out of the ashes and renewed it :) If you had visited the church before the change over and were disappointed, I highly recommend coming back and giving it another try, as it's no longer the same church as before...”

“I used to go to this church 60 years ago when I was a child it was just the small one on the side back then, but the church pool was there. My mother's name was Mary Ellen h a n s e n my father was Marv h a n s e n they're both passed away now. They would have joined in about 1962 my mother taught Bible school for young kids and my father was in the choir sometimes he made some arrangements for the organist. The pastor's name was Pastor enter a tall man with dark hair and dark glasses. And the new pastor was Pastor Paul a young man with light hair I am K Hanson I am 66 now. Unfortunately we moved from Garden Grove in 1968 and later to Houston Texas so we never could come back to visit although I do miss Garden Grove very much.”
