“Great service! Phil was very responsive. I had reached out through Yelp about some scratches on the car's bumper and he responded right away. I sent him a picture of the damage and he gave me my options and the cost for each option, which I really appreciated. I scheduled an appointment and when I arrived, Phil was ready to work on the car immediately. I was grateful that I didn't have to wait since I had a tight timeline that day. He was able to get rid of most of the scratches, but some of the scratches were a little too deep, which he had already forewarned me after he saw the picture. However, if I was just walking past the car, I wouldn't notice that there were scratches there before. All in all, Phil did a great job and I would definitely take my other cars to him when I need detail work again.”

“I never write reviews but Andres at SF Auto Detail did an incredible job! After a trip to the mountains, I came home and discovered that a mouse had made a nest in my engine, chewed through my windshield washer tubes, and left a lot of droppings all over the entire engine bed. After a lot of calling around to various detail shops across the Bay, Andres was the only one who offered specific engine detail services that didn't involve any water (which would have ruined any electronic sensors in the engine.) Andres was incredibly detailed before the work and walked through my car and helped to spot any details that might need to be looked out and provided me with an incredibly fair and reasonable estimate. After he finished the cleaning, my engine looked literally brand new. Super happy with the service! I will definitely be coming back to him with any more needs in the future.”

“I was recommended to Denny at Fix Body by my mechanic. I first met Denny back in February when someone backed into my car. I went to several body shops in the city and nobody would help me. I pulled up to Denny’s place, and he immediately grabbed a tool, fixed the issue right on the spot, and refused to take a penny. That alone left a huge impression on me.

So when my car was recently damaged again—this time by a large garbage bin in two separate spots—I went straight back to Denny. In a stressfull situation, Denny and his team made the entire process absolutely seamless. He listened, explained everything clearly, and made sure I understood each step. Throughout the entire process, I felt respected, taken seriously, not rushed and treated like a valued customer.

My repairs took eight days, and my car looks brand new. About seven days into repairs through, staff called to update me, which I really appreciated. And when Denny gave me a specific date and time my car would be ready, it was ready exactly when he said it would be.

“I can't believe I haven't left a review for Wayne here yet. He is world class, a master of his craft - he is truly passionate about car restoration. It shows in his absolute attention to detail, deep knowledge of care techniques and tools for cars, and radiant attitude. I was fortunate to come across Fog City Detail in 2022 and haven't gone anywhere else since. I drive a 1999 Suzuki Vitara, a car I have had since I was 15 years old, which I drove to Alaska and back, and up and down and across the US, and to every trailhead and campsite in California. My beloved car wouldn't still be on the road today without Wayne. He transforms my car every time I bring it in, making it look and feel better than new with his magic (read: extremely dedicated hard work).

Most recently, I spent a week in Big Sur over new year's during the downpours, hiking every day and my suzuki got flooded with rain water and mud, which then stagnate for a week until I got home. The first thing I did was call Wayne for help, and he worked on my Suzuki from 9:30 AM to 7 pm to save it. I teared up with joy when picking it up, I'm beyond grateful for Wayne's dedication.

“What an impressive experience! I have a Jaguar F-type that needed both quarter panels repaired and a handle that needed to be adjusted. I have quite the sentimental attachment to this car, so I wanted to make sure I found the right person to work on her. After some research, I narrowed it down to top 3 body shops. After visiting each one, I found that this one was by far the friendliest and most reasonable. The manager, Kai, was super nice and transparent about the whole process and even decided to throw in the handle repair at no extra cost.

I got the car back after 4 days. When I went to go pick it up, I was even more pleasantly surprised because he had decided to touch up all the minor scratches the car had accumulated over the years. Not only that, the car was washed, vacuumed and waxed - including the rims and tires!

“Will 100% always recommend this place to all family and friends. Venny is super nice and accommodating. I went in to get a quote after a homeless person scratched and dented my brand new car & I trying to figure out whether I should pay out of pocket or go through insurance to avoid my insurance going up. Venny kept reassuring me that the damage was clearly vandalism & recommending that I go through insurance but still willing to do it at a good price if I decided to do it out of pocket. He told me once I decided I can drop my car off at any time. I finally decided to make a claim through my insurance and I went to drop off my car on Friday right before closing. I told Venny I had work on Wednesday early morning and would appreciate if I had my car back on Tuesday night but I was also flexible and could find accommodations if it wasn’t. On Tuesday at 4p he calls me to tell me my car is ready! I go pick up my car and it looks amazing! I had the opportunity to meet Zim on a casual Saturday looking at nearby cars for sale. I saw some pretty cars through the window pane, and he asked me if I needed help as he was outside too.

I thought, who is this guy with the gold chain asking me about my interest in cars, used and/or new? After quick exchanges, I came to know that this guy is hilarious, straightforward, and well, talented.

I called Jaime to see when I could bring my car in to get her fixed up again. I brought my car to Jaime since he had already done a phenomenal job on my daughter's car a few months prior when she got into an accident. Suffice to say he did not disappoint. He worked with my schedule and was able to get me my car back in a timely manner. Not only did he work with my schedule, but the color match was completely on point.
