“The store was clean and organized. The merchandise were clean and in good shape. I especially loved their book section. It was very organized and easy to browse as they were alphabetized by the author's last name. The team members were friendly and helpful.”
“Recently discovered this place and they helped my husband clean up his hair right before a short trip! Clean place with awesome workers! Totally would recommend this to anyone five stars!”
“Lovely little shop that’s crammed full of wonderful old (mostly) things! They were very friendly and helpful, when asked; otherwise, I was left to browse peacefully…which I did for a very long time. There’s a lot to see!
I felt that some prices were a bit high, but overall reasonable and fair for the market. And I did buy lots of things: jewelry, beaded necklaces, and some antique sterling silver.
I will definitely be returning!”
“My favorite Hospice Thrift Shoppe! Everything is so neatly organized and the staff is friendly. They have a huge selection of clothes, furniture, and so many more.”
“This is a great little thrift store located across from Lafayette Park. There is a large variety of clothing, including men's clothing. There are lots of toys for kids of all ages.I went there looking for a choker necklace. However, I found a beautiful bracelet and lightweight animal print shawl. They have lots of helpful volunteers. The profits go to local charities. --”
“An excellent thrift store with high end items and friendly volunteers. As a nonprofit all of their money goes to the Contra Costa crisis center and other local non profits.”
“AMAZING. They have so many good finds vintage, new, and y2k. You definitely have to hunt but it's worth it. They have cute little carts you can push around which are convenient. I got like 20 things for $60 which was a steal. Very good color tag deals and low low prices. Apparently you can coupon online for more savings! HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR BACK TO SCHOOL SHOPPING ETC.”
“There are two shops a couple doors down from each other - one store with furniture and bigger items, and the other with clothes and smaller household goods. I’ve had a great experience at both shops in terms of selection, quality, and condition. The staff is friendly, and it all goes to a great cause”
“Great help from the staff. I needed a walker for my Mom but didn't see any until I asked. Debra showed me where there were and helped me pick the right kind. She understood what I was going through with my Mom and made getting the walker enjoyable. A few minutes of compassion made my day since sometimes you feel alone when it comes to caring for your sick parents. Thank you for your support Debra. This place is fantastic I always receive excellent service from everyone and I appreciate all the volunteers”
“I am so glad I came across this little gem of a shop, in this unpersonal world of online shopping, hope we never lose places like this ever... I was greeted and welcomed with smiles, and the staff is extremely kind and respectful, especially one employee name Pat was so helpful, the store is clean well organized absolutely a delight..... I hope that our communities continue to support such community building small business, because their essential in maintaining thriving communities. :)”
“I've lived in the House nearby the thrift shop for about 5 years stopped by once and thought the prices were initially high.
However over the last 6 months I've stopped by almost every other week and I've been bringing donations and shopping for family members and Christmas gifts. I found the staff to be very friendly and warm. They rotate products very quickly and now I've noticed that some days there's tags that are on sale which is great to rotate product and give you the chance to buy something if you thought it was a little bit high.
Additionally the Christmas sales in the holiday gifts that were available were really well priced to move and I've also found some really great clothes for my daughter's there and now it's become something we enjoy going and doing together which I think is a wonderful part of the community plus it's all for a good cause.”
“The American Cancer society Discovery Shop in Walnut Creek is the cleanest most well-maintained and curated thrift boutique I have ever been in. The items are high quality desirable and price to sell. The manager does an amazing job with the visuals and displays and Donna, the sales associate is absolutely delightful. She is very knowledgeable and helpful, I always make a point of stopping here whenever I'm in the Walnut Creek area. Also, don't forget to sign into the loyalty program every time. It is the most generous loyalty program that I have ever enrolled in!”

“Children’s resale boutique with a thrift store feel. Reasonable prices, they have a good rotation, every time I go in I find something. A great place to trade your kid’s clothes for the next size up or donate stuff you won’t use. A great asset to the community with friendly owner. It feels good finding second hand goodies here.”
“A little gem of a thrift store with a well-curated selection of clothes and interesting finds such as beads. The staff is delightful: friendly and helpful. A great experience for experienced thrifters and casual walk-ins alike.”
“I love this shop!! Its a great way to start your charity shopping morning. There are great unique finds from artwork to shoes to jewelry. The pricing is a little high but I guess their rent must be too here. The staff is always warm and inviting. They host different events for vintage jewelry or shoes and handbags once in a while so be sure to get on their messaging list.”
“Absolutely great thrift store. The customer service is top tier with a large selection of everything you could imagine. It was well taken care of and things were organized! I found some great old books! 100% recommend this place. Also free parking and the proceeds go to a cat rescue.”
“Really love this location since I’ve found some amazing clothing here that I frequently wear. I feel like it’s rising in price these past couple of months. I very vividly remember seeing shoes for 75 dollars here ?… I also think they have a slight reseller problem lowkey? but kinda expected that. LOVE the stuff I’ve gotten here though and the workers r nice”
“This is by far the best goodwill I’ve been to in decades. The prices are unbeatable and they have a ton of great items. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The store is a little small but still fun to look through.”

“Find good little things for good price like the organization. Was hesitant to go because of reviews but decided to try it. Staff was friendly. Not sure why customers are complaining of prices I'm sure there's a certain amount that needs to be charged for them to keep running. Overall had good experience found some nice cloths and my kids like looking around too.”

“Loved this store, especially on senior day. It was my first Savers and I found lots of great items I will use and wear. Thanks for the 50% off senior day. I will be back!!!”
“Our family is happy to support Thrift Station with both donations and as shoppers. It is volunteer run so sometimes imperfect but still a good cause in a great location.”
