“I have been a customer of Bank of America for over 35 years since 1980'. My dad has banked at Bank of America since the 1960's. The Davis,CA is a very friendly and helpful branch. It can get busy but the employees, staff, managers are all very friendly and helfpul. They also have a teller for business banking. Everyone at Bank of America is always friendly and helpful with everyone who goes there. Just be reminded that with davis being a College Town it can getextremely mbusy a few times of the year when international students open and close their accounts”

“I have been investing with Charles Schwab since 2018, and the main reason I continue to invest with them is because of the Davis branch. Every time I've had a question about anything from new products to the state of the economy, I've been able to have a candid conversation with Paul or Matt at the Davis branch. They are available for phone or in-person appointments, and tailor their advice/recommendations to my long and short-term financial needs. Location is not very accessible, there is a rickety old elevator in the front of the building (just the general building, not this office), but otherwise multiple flights of stairs and limited parking options. They do have phone appointments available.”

“Great credit union. Their fraud department is outstanding I had an unusual charge on my account that immediately got flagged and within minutes of it happening I received a phone call from a representative asking if I had made those charges. They immediately canceled the card and issued me a new one. On a side note if you go to any branch they will replace you card on the spot so you don't have to wait seven to ten business days for it to be sent in the mail. Staff is very friendly and helpful would highly recommend doing banking business here.”

“My visit was fine. Was trying to get the bank to work with me on getting a Chase CC. I recently went through a major financial issue and had terrible credit. I placed a lot of cash into a Chase acct and asked for some type of CC, even secured, to build good credit. The customer service guy tells me just apply for a CC and looks at me then like a robot reads me all the possible bad outcomes and even of course the hard hit to my all ready piss poor credit. As he was speaking to me I just interrupted him and asked did he understand what I was asking. Proceeded to repeat the same litany and I had to stop him and thank him for his time. He finally explained that no, if you have bad credit no matter if you put 10s of thousands of dollars in to an account as collateral (untouchable/ secured) you wont get any type of CC option with Chase. Just an F.Y.I.
Other than that decent ROI investing if that's your thing and great counter service.”
