“I live in San Francisco and come to Sacramento often. I've tried hotels closer to Sacramento: Roseville, Rancho Cordova, Folsom, etc, and they are either overpriced or dirty. This particular Motel 6 is consistently good. The price is reasonable, the rooms are always clean (most important to me), and the staff are old-school friendly. I feel like they appreciate my business and that matters to me. I don't mind the drive for a clean room and great customer service.”

“Most staff are really good. Downtown location with included parking is nice. We encountered a series of maintenance issues -- our toilet was difficult to flush and could not be fixed quickly, so they moved us to a nicer room. But then the elevator briefly broke, and there was a sewage leak in the parking area. But I suspect these were fluke occurrences.Walkability: Downtown and many stores, restaurants, bars etc. are walkable”

“Stayed here for over 2 weeks thanks to a work trip. This place had free EV chargers which was amazing and saved me a ton. Breakfast sucked as it was the same thing everyday for the entire 16 days I was there. On a good note though, special shoutout to Cameron at the front desk for making this a great experience. Give my man a raise!”

“We found out our downtown hotel was closed for water damage when we tried to check in (no notice from Sonesta Essential). Ended up at Hyatt House and happy we did! Incredibly clean, great service, terrific breakfast buffet, comfortable bar. 4 stars only bc it's not right downtown but it takes 2 mins to jump on 505 and 5 mins to downtown. Should we need to come back to Vacaville we'll definitely stay here.”

“Stayed one night while on a road trip. Clean room with good shower water pressure. Typical older Holiday Inn Express (currently under renovations). If you are sensitive to noise, avoid the rooms near the exits. I could hear the door open and close well into the night.”

“have stayed here a few times. nice place but does not inform guests at all about noise issues. have had construction on the street just outside in the early morning, extremely loud bars across the street with live music, etc. bring good noise blocking headphones or ear plugsparking lot is also narrow and fills up quickly”

“I have never been more eager to give a review. This is a very special La Quinta, not because the grounds are well kept or because the pool is sparkling clean. It's not even for the cleanliness throughout the building and even the rooms. It's the people!!! There wasn't one person I came in contact with that wasn't kind. No over the top service looking for a tip just good old fashion customer service that made me feel at home. Even my dog didn't want to leave. Thank you, Kelesi for the 16 hour service days you give but you continue to smile. But most importantly the light and encouragement you gave to me. I appreciate you:)Safety: I felt very safeWalkability: Shopping and foodFood & drinks: Surrounded by ihop, Carl's jr, and Chinese food. Rare tea is 5 mins awayNoteworthy details: The freeway is very close”

“I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms in this hotel. They seem updated and more importantly very clean compared to other similar hotels. I also found the hotel staff go above and beyond. I was accidentally told that the breakfast ended at 10 and when I showed up it turns out it ends at 9. The manager managed to get some food for me. Usually in hotels cleaners are extremely loud and slam doors but here they were very quiet and considerate of the guests that might be resting. They whisper and place towels so the doors don’t slam. These little things go a long way.”

“Floor covering in lobby and on walkway to rooms was extremely slippery in the rain. First room reeked of mold (I didn't even go in...could smell it from the door). Second room was alright except that not all blinds worked properly so light shone in. Big gap under 1/2 of door at least an inch. No vanity in bathroom so tricky to even lay out toothbrush and paste. My daughter's room had a very stained carpet on the floor. The receptionist was nice but seemed exhausted.I'd say that a good effort had been made to give a 60's style motel a facelift (new plumbing and nicely painted. It just needs a once over to update things that make a difference between a 3 and 5 star place.Terrific dining place directly across the street.”

“Clean and reasonably priced. No continental breakfast, but who cares with downtown Davis just steps away!Walkability: Great walking town. Easy walk to downtown. I walked to the Mondavi Center at UCDavis. Nice not to worry about parking!”

“Convienantly located close to the freeway and walking distance to a few fast food places and Starbucks. Got a real good deal on priceline here. Reviews stated issues about homelessness closeby which was true but it wasn't extreme and it did not impact my stay at all. Rooms were pest free which is hard to find when looking for deals. It's rarely both. So I would return when in the area again and I do recommend. The only negative thing I will say was the odd way the air unit takes up a good 5-6 inches overhanging onto the 2nd bed space. And no closet for hanging clothes”

“Forgot my earphones in the room. They contacted me and shipped me the earphones (at my expense of course). Was surprised. Thank you!The room was ok. Clean and ok for the price.”
