“This resort and spa did not disappoint. Excellent facilities, gorgeous landscaping, natural hot spring tubs, jacuzzis, large pool, and dreamy vistas. The cafe serves healthy fare, coffee, and the most delicious green juice. I had an awesome hot stone massage. A great place to recharge. I'll be back.”

“Interesting floor plans, restrained and tasteful, yet modern-age decor. I would love to spend a weekend sometime! The nearby event center is also quite nice. All together, a relaxing place and nice people. A Modernist Week win for us!”

“Spent a few days at this cool boutique hotel on a trip through the area. A small hotel, private, secure, comfortable and quiet mostly location, thats close to town but not in the busy noisy area. Only eight rooms. The innkeeper is kind and professional, he went above and beyond to make me feel welcome the couple days I was there. All digital checkin and access, controlled entry point gates and privacy walls at front, with fencing around the perimeter. A few parking places right at the front of the hotel. The rooms modern, comfortable and nicely furnished. Comfortable beds and decent hot water for a shower. All the standards one expects to find while traveling. Fridge with coffee station, a flat screen, table and chairs, etc. The grounds of the property are very private and nicely maintained. A hot mineral water pool (90 degrees) and hot tub (104) fill the interior courtyard that is concrete walkways all around. The backyard is very comfortable with several seating areas, a firepit, a fenced dog recreation and relief area and bbq grill. The property is also truly dog friendly (no fees charged) and as well is a cannabis friendly hotel with open outdoor consumption encouraged. 4 Stars a solid very hip little hotel with a great innkeeper that provides a great escape for a day or longer. 00959”

“We enjoyed our stay at Hope Springs! The rooms were fresh, the pools were clean, and the facility was very serene. We enjoyed the vintage mid-century modern architecture and furnishings which gave the resort a personal touch and complimented the excellently maintained grounds. The continental breakfast was well stocked with wonderful food and many options. The coffee is great too, as they use Joshua Tree organic coffee. The environment around the pools is very relaxing and a great place to get away from screens with the facilities posted policy about cell phone usage. The rooms were clean and the platform bed and floor mat made the room comfortable. The hosts were very wonderful people and made it easy to check in and out. We will certainly return!”

“We had such a wonderful stay at The Getaway in Desert Hot Springs! My husband, our two boys, and I were instantly charmed by the catchy 1950s–60s retro vibe of the rooms—so fun and thoughtfully designed. It really feels like a step back in time, in the best way possible.

The area felt super safe, which made it easy to fully relax and enjoy. The pool was absolutely perfect for cooling off during the day, and our favorite part might have been soaking in the hot tub under the stars in the evening—it was peaceful and just what we needed.

This was such a special family getaway, and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, relaxing desert escape near Palm Springs!”

“So this is our second visit here. First time was a day trip. It is an adults only location and recently-ish clothing optional.

There is basically no checkin process. Do not expect a lot of service. The amenities work though clearly not a lot of upkeep over time.

It’s unclear to me how many of the guests are aware it’s clothing optional from what I recall the only place it is mentioned is on the front page of the website and you can easily book a room without seeing that. It has not been busy either of the times I’ve been which depending on what you’re looking for could be a great fit.

Rooms: Each room is themed maintained but there is some wear and tear. Mini fridge and coffee machine in the room (coffee machine was useful for heating water but didn’t have coffee pods in room, did not seek any out elsewhere).

Nearby activities: Lots of food a short drive away.

Noteworthy details: Clothing optional. Pool and day beds are great though the daybeds could use more upkeep.”

has top service and excellent pools. The rooms are spacious. The real mineral water pools are perfect temperature. The gift shop
proprietor is good at what she does and found me the perfect suit”

“The rooms could use an update but we go for the 8 different mineral pools that are open 24 hours a day! The bar/restaurant on site has great tasting reasonably priced food too!”
