“It was a good experience shopping in Marshalls.Clothes looked fresh here than in Ross. Prices are a bit higher than Ross but the collection is good.I went for our anniversary shopping and got good jackets for my husband which honestly I couldn't find anywhere.”

“I recently went to this Target to return a storage container I no longer needed. It was so easy to do. I had my receipt and was asked if I wanted my credit to return to my card, which I did. The rep was helpful, there was no line (it was after 8pm, I think), and the friendly rep came out as I was at the counter. No wait and an easy return.”

Ross has reduced hours for certain employees based on perceived performance standards while continuing to keep them on the schedule with no guaranteed days or hours. Employees are not terminated, disciplined, or provided formal performance documentation, yet are left without stable income or scheduling consistency. This practice creates financial insecurity and lacks transparency or accountability.
To Whom It May Concern,
I am submitting this statement to formally document concerns regarding current scheduling practices at Ross Dress for Less.
Recently, work hours have been reduced or removed for certain employees based on management’s assessment of whether they meet internal performance standards. These reductions have occurred without formal termination, written disciplinary action, or documented performance improvement plans being provided to the affected employees.
Despite the reduction or elimination of hours, employees remain active on the schedule with no guaranteed days or hours. This results in ongoing uncertainty regarding income and availability expectations, while employees are still considered employed by the company.
At this time, it is unclear what specific criteria are being used to determine these scheduling decisions, or whether employees are being given a clear opportunity to understand performance concerns or improve upon them. The lack of formal documentation and communication has made it difficult for employees to plan financially or professionally.
I am providing this statement for HR’s awareness and review, and to request clarification on company policy regarding scheduling reductions, performance standards, and employee rights related to consistent work hours and performance feedback.

“I like this chain as I think anyone can find something that they don't need or don't know they needed. I like the Dublin store better than the Danville store. At least it seemed they had more outdoor/patio items, which is why I went there. Their prices are reasonable, too.”
