“The Duncan Mills General Store is your classic old school communities store in West Sonoma County. It’s a great place to stop on your way out to the ocean to grab some sandwiches and snacks. It’s got a nice old town feel they have their own branded sauces and pickles, great selection of wine and beer and sodas and they make an awesome deli sandwich. I highly recommend on your way out to Jenn or the Pacific Ocean to stop at the Duncan Mills General Store.”

“Great store! Has everything you could possibly need on vacation.

The deli is your best bet if heading to the beach. Sandwiches are $9.49 and come on either a choice of rolls or sliced bread. Lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, jalapeños, choice of cheese, and sauce. They also head deviled eggs, tuna salad, and various other things.”

“I’ve been coming to Gonellas for over 10 years, and I’ve never met friendlier people who always have what I need! I noticed over the last couple of weeks that they hadn’t been stocking mint mate in the fridge, so I mentioned it to the cashier as I was checking out yesterday. Today they added the mint mate back and the guy was super sweet as I checked out. Going in there is quick and easy and it’s always my caffeine stop on the way in or out of work! Would highly recommend this small town staple.”

“Loved their sandwiches! Becauseit is by the ocean it costs a little more, but the sandwich is packed! I usually can only eat one half, so it ends up making two meals. The staff is friendly and there are lots of great sides and goodies available as well as a good selection of drinks. We have picked up a sandwich for an early dinner or to take to the beach for lunch.”

“I've been going to Valley forge store since I was a baby. Through The years this place has changed hands half a dozen times. The layout of the store has definitely changed and I do miss what the store used to look like, but I think that's mostly nostalgia for me. They do have a very nice layout and a great selection of convenience items for being located where they are.”

“Classic 'On-The-Way-To-Go-Fishin' bodega that has all you forgot when you left for the beach. Good parking, but watch out backing out into Bodega Road - some folks don't slow down for Valley Ford. Be aware that the CHP can lurk on both the East and West side of Bodega Road.”

“So glad to see this place is still around. I knew we were almost to my grandparents cabin when I saw it. Many good memories walking from the beach or cabin to grab a donut, newspaper or a little dollar toy.”
