I was planning to go to another carniceria in Montebello to pick up some asada for the 4th but thought hey might as well look for something in this city. I gave my bf two choices and he ended up picking this spot.I'm always on the hunt for good, tender, well seasoned (but not salty) and lean carne asada. It's hard finding a spot, I hate tough meat. We took a chance here and let me tell you their asada is hella tender! Even my bf who is picky af with his asada ate 6 pieces in one sitting. Their asada is perfectly seasoned, pull apart tender, lean and super juicy. At $17.99 def a steal of a deal for good cuts of meat.Come out and support this local mom and pop shop!”

“This is a remarkable market. It is the only place my family buys meat. We drive up from Orange County to shop there. Beef is USDA Prime and is always amazing quality. It has one of the few full service butcher services available. The butcher case is a wonder to behold. There are expanded grocery and produce departments with good selection. We also like the variety of specialty and gourmet items. We've always found the service there to be friendly and first rate.”

Little meat market in the middle of Norwalk that has big charm, friendly service, and an excellent reputation for their meats. Their chicharrones were crunchy and fresh. My intrigue though, came from the taco shop they own that is right next to them. I am definitely going to have to come back and try this spot.”
“Wonderful place owner has been in business since 1961 and makes all his german sausages and wurst , homemade liverwurst , specialties in house . Old world traditional receipe's they are the best, he has many awards for his skills and is an expert in his craft, also they bake there own artisan bread and have other breads also. Love this place , Great customer service the employees are fantastic ..I drove over an hour from corona ca just to go shopping there , it was my first time there, will be coming back again , worth the drive..Highly recommend. “If you like fresh produce and meat you have to check out Luis's. I'm a professional chef and I use all their meats. Beef (oxtails) pork, chicken fish etc. it's always fresh and fair in price. Margarit is so sweet and kind. I call to check inventory and she always let me know what's in. All the men in the meat department are super nice and they cut the meat anyways ( only if it's safe) lol don't go asking for too thin pieces lol. Thank you”
