“I’ve been going to them for years for them family packs which last me damn near two months. I saved a lot of food stamps. I’m in Wilmington trying to make my way there now to get a family meet pack”

“Authentic small Mexican market where you can find everything at a good price. Vegetables, spices, fresh meat, cleaning products, etc. Really friendly and honest staff.”
“Always the freshest chicken links and sausage ???! The owners are always polite and great..my father's been going their for years and turned me on and now I get all my chicken links from there and only here!!!”
“Love their hot food bar. If you need to grab something quick it’s perfect, overpriced for regular grocery shopping though. Also they have the wrong times on their signage outside with the hours of closing.”

“Grass fed beef at low prices delivered frozen overnight all the way to Las Vegas for about a buck a pound. Excellent packers. Excellent management. Excellent delivery. Excellent prices. Excellent in every way for the 10 years I've been a customer.”
“Went since I got told they have really good carnitas, however they only sale it in the weekends. But feel also have some other good items and it's nostalgic cute little cozy market is how iwould mainly describe it.”
“I think this is a pretty cool place when you can grab some asada and buy a cold one at the same time plus the have bread. It's located on the corner of 54th street and Van Ness with handy parking. I've been going here for years since I was a child actually.”

“I am from a Western Canadian City and when I am in Western Kosher I am in awe! So. Much selection and the meat dept!! Love it.
Back for another visit. Will be here a few times before we go!”
“The owner Lou went above and beyond to make sure I had a pleasant experience with him and my selection of meats. He was out of the meat I was looking for and made sure to take care of me with an alternative option.”
“Been here multiple times and the chicken is the best. You definitely have to come prepare to wait in line. The place is very clean and they only allow one person per line at a time.”
“I love how clean and organized everything is here. The produce is always fresh, good quality meats and there meat area is always super clean. Staff are real friendly and plenty parking. The only reason im giving 4stars is because they dont sell beer here. If your doing a BBQ you want everything in one store save you some extra trips.”
“Very patient staff. I don't usually order sandwiches, but I was ordering for my family and they walked me through what they have. Every part of the order came out right. I had the Moroccan Fish and it was delicious.”
“I liked it because they already sell what you want fried???????⬛??huu this place is old and it's close to the neighborhood Between 8st and 9 x Vermont near Wilshire and Olympic”

“Shoutout to Edward for being such a knowledgeable owner! He introduced me to high-quality products and foods I’d never tried before, all at an affordable price.”
“The carnecera is my favorite place to get meat. They have some of the friendliest butchers I know. No matter what you buy there you will be pleased with this market. Top to bottom great people..”
“I been in this market a few times, and it never disappoints me, great meat selection (I ordered marinated chicken it was supper delicious not salty but perfect with flavor) but everything time I purchase meat the butcher send it to the front, but I always forget. They also have a big selection of healthy and unhealthy drinks, and a decent selection of vegetables, fruits, and other good quality Mexican ingredients. My favorite part they are open Sundays!”
“I loved their Carne asada and ribs super delicious and weren't chewy like other places. The only bad thing was their chicken milanesa..but other than that they are great...better than la princessita”
“I love their meat their prices are great and their freshly packed and what I love is that I can find the small turkey wings it's very hard to find small turkey wings..”
“Always superb customer service the few times I’ve shopped here - big thanks to the super friendly and helpful Brandon who answered numerous questions I had today about a recipe I was making that required a certain type of sausage. I’ll definitely be coming back more!”
“I can't stress how.much I love the store. The man at the meat section always greets me with a Holla, and a smile. He recognizes how much I love the ingredient that is used to prepare the meat , that I'm a regular now. This is my to go spot when I BBQ with Family , or friends:.”
“Local market with shared parking. Great staff and products inside.
The meat department is small, but don't let the size fool you. The asada meat is filet at a decent cut. The fat to meat ratio is even with each cut. The chorizo seco is delicious on the grill. (Suggestion: Chorizo seco on the grill and cook. Once cooked chorizo, guacamole, and hot sauce in a tortilla! Dios mío!!)
The guys behind the counter are attentive and respectful of the customers request. Come by, purchase some carne asada, some refreshments, tortillas, and don't forget the avocados!
Thank you and God bless!”

“I had a great time shopping at El Camaguey. They have a lot of ingredients that are really hard to come by at other stores.
I would not necessarily trust the produce. A lot was past its prime, and the coolers were visibly dirty and rusty. And if the front-facing produce is that way, what does that mean for the meat? You decide.
But the shelf stable, packaged, and frozen foods- those were all a delight to browse. I was particularly delighted to find Gayraná Antarctica, which I've been wanting to try for years.
It's great to have found a new store for a specific regional cuisine. I will definitely be back.”
“What a special and wonderful place. They are so helpful and kind! We are so delighted to discover this jewel and support them. They have Basturma!! HOORAY Los Angeles shines brightest when one remembers how lucky we all are to live here and have access to the most delicious cultures on the planet. AND with such lovely human beings that make it all happen.”
“Great produce selection, lots of ingredients for the latin palate. Occasionally runs out of ripe fruit but has an abundant selection if you're willing to wait to eat it. Don't recommend shopping for toiletries; I still can't find razors here. Difficult to exit east and south”
“Truck delivery..if you have a 5am appointment you can park on street, if you get there before the cars in the morning. They do have a person to guide you into the dock, ( big help ) friendly and kind. Unloading was quick but only had 7500lbs to deliver for this stop.”
“Great service and selection! I came for Ethiopian beer which they sadly did not have. The workers were all very friendly and knowledgeable about the matter. I ended up getting some snacks and a bracelet so I wouldn’t leave empty handed. The food here is good, the spices are plentiful, and there’s a little bit of everything concerning Ethiopian goods. What friendly and intelligent staff this place has! Definitely coming back.”

“I was in the K-town area looking for meats to cook at home and came across Olympic Choice Meat Market, so glad I did! I picked up beef tongue, kosal, and marinated short ribs, along with a few sauces the owner recommended, and everything was AMAZING.
The owner was super helpful and even gave me tips on how to cook everything at home, which made a huge difference. The quality of the meat was honestly better than what I’ve had at most all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ spots, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly marinated.
If you’re looking for high-quality meats, Korean BBQ cuts, or a great local butcher shop in Koreatown, I highly recommend Olympic Choice Meat Market. I’ll definitely be coming back!”
“It's has excellent meat cuts ,and really good chorizo, it's a small store ,like the ones that we use to go with grandma, very hard workers great attitude, the only drawback is that they don't take any type of cards strictly cash and EBT,”
“Got a torta pollo and it was so good and authentic, had a Mexican cheese as well. Better food than any food truck around.
Portion size is huge and I did pickup”
“We ordered a standing rib roast and Juan cut the meat from the bone and made it so easy to cook and serve. It was an amazing piece of meat and our guests raved about it.”
