The staff here answered all my questions, of which there were many, ordered the product I needed, finished paperwork remotely, all a 5 star experience. “An excellent experience from start to finish. We knew what we wanted for our guest room/office but couldn't find it anywhere until we went to Wallbeds N More. Our salesperson helped us build the perfect unit, from the queen bed to the desk and table, the storage, the lighting, and even a USB power unit, to the exact color of wood. It was ready within the time frame they promised, and installed in just a few hours by skilled installers who then spent plenty of time helping us learn to use the new unit. “Went in after looking at Costco and The Hot Tub Store. The Hot Tub Store was great, but Kenny put California Backyard over the top. Just a good dude who likes to put families in a hot tub. He did not oversell us at all. Told me the truth about what most people need. We left to make sure we wanted the Jacuzzi tub and we were back the next day to purchase. The delivery team was super nice and efficient. Kenny then came to my house and walked me through the chemicals and the controls. A+ work”

“Oh I luv World Market. They have super cool merchandise. They are a chain retail shop specializing in imports and domestic home furnishings, decor, housewares, apparel, gifts, and imported food. The imported food is my favorite section.

Right now the shop is loaded with Easter items (basket, candy, toys, home decor) perfect to create that special Easter basket and decorate your home.

The food section has a selection of coffee, tea, jams, cookies, snacks, candy, sauces, and dry goods from around the world. To name a few... they had frankfurters in glass jars from Germany; hazelnut spread from 5 different countries including Spain; English tea from united ted Kingdom Sri Lanka; different varieties of mochi from Taiwan; and variety of cookies from various countries. Pricing is comparable and some are cheaper than the domestic counterparts at my local grocery store. This section is in the back left corner of the shop.

I also like their selection of furniture ... lamps, sofas, dining sets. The various styles are farmhouse, bohemian, modern contemporary, and mid century. Pricing is not outrageous.

The shop in Folsom is clean, organized. Staff are kind. Like all other shops, gone are the days where extra staff walk the floor providing assistance. If assistance is needed, just go to the cashier at the front”

“I’ve always enjoyed shopping at HomeGoods because you never know what treasures you’ll find. Half the fun is wandering through the aisles, discovering unexpected items, and checking out the displays near the checkout line. The store does a great job of creating a fun browsing experience, and I almost always leave with something I didn’t plan on buying. That sense of discovery is one of the main reasons I keep coming back.

During my most recent visit, however, I had an interaction that felt a bit unusual. While my mom and I were waiting in line, an employee was actively asking customers if they were ready to check out. Initially, I thought she was simply trying to keep the line moving efficiently, which I appreciated. As the conversation continued, though, she began expressing frustration about customers who continue browsing while in line or who take phone calls while waiting. She shared her annoyance with the situation quite openly, and it felt less like a helpful reminder and more like a complaint directed at customers.

I can certainly understand wanting to keep the checkout process running smoothly, especially when the store is busy. There are situations where customers can be inconsiderate, particularly if they hold up the line without acknowledging others. However, HomeGoods is a store that practically encourages browsing, even while waiting to pay. The displays near the registers are specifically designed to catch shoppers’ attention and inspire last-minute purchases. Because of that, seeing customers continue to look around while standing in line feels completely normal and expected.

The employee's comments made the interaction feel a little awkward and unnecessary, even though I understand the point she was trying to make. Fortunately, this experience didn't take away from my overall appreciation of the store. I still enjoy shopping here and will continue to visit because of the great selection and unique finds. I just hope future interactions are approached with a bit more patience and understanding, since leisurely browsing is part of what makes HomeGoods such an enjoyable place to shop.”
