“I love this store, and I really wish it were available in other countries. However, the carbon footprint of some of the products is a little bit off the charts, like Norwegian Rye crackers that are actually from Norway. Having said that, it's okay to look past that every once in a while and enjoy the products!”

“Such a cool place and market! Honestly the falafel and hummus weren't to my liking, but perhaps I've become accustomed to the Greek style, which tend to have more herbs and spices, and the chickpeas are slightly coarser. Perhaps Persian-style is just different. It was still pretty good after crisping up the falafel in the toaster oven after drizzling a little olive oil on them. Also a little lemon juice and olive oil on the hummus made it better too. Though still much better than Nectarine Grove or Luna Grill, which put the awful in falafel.”
“Located in the former 99 Cents store on Encinitas Blvd & ECR, it's tucked away but worth a visit. This one is well stocked, well-organized and has a very friendly staff. I usually come here to load up on fun snacks and I often find good quality shampoos and personal care products. I also usually find some nice berries or other fruit. If you enjoy discovering new things and you're not brand conscious, this is a great option to save tons of money on groceries.”
“I had a good visit at this Encinitas Aldi. I picked up some avocados, uncured lunch meats, ground turkey, high grain sandwich bread, and some radishes.
All items were available, well priced, and in good condition. The lady at the register was very friendly and helpful.
There's plenty of parking at this location.”

“I came here for a last minute item (around 8pm on Tuesday night) and couldn't find it for the life of me. The employee stocking shelves (older gentleman with glasses - I forgot to get his name) who was stocking in the plumbing fixtures section was extremely helpful and very courteous. He went out of his way to help me, and was very friendly, and knew exactly where the item was that I was looking for. Despite it being on the other side of the store. I wish I got his name, but hopefully based off of the information I provided you're able to narrow it down and recognize him for going above and beyond.”
“I can’t thank enough the BAKERY department! Everyone helped me in my “Cake Emergency” when the original baker I hired didn’t came through the morning of the party. I arrived asking for help and the three people that were behind the counter Saturday morning were really nice and helpful. I want to thank the baker, Mr. Siavash, in particular! He is amazing! He looked at the inspiration picture we had and made the cake in just an hour! The cake looked even better than the one in the picture! And, on top of it, it really tasted very good! Me and my family are forever grateful!”

“Other than the worker following us everywhere, it was a great experience. We used the restroom as soon as we walked in(family of 6), because we were driving and taking the scenic route from San Diego to Los angeles. Heard about this place on tiktok for best cookies in SD. We came for the cookies and bakery items.
The restrooms: very clean and modern. This always tells me a lot about food in any store or restaurant.
The cookies: The chocolate chip was so yummy. Even after a day it was still soft and delicious, if not better than the day before. The chocolate chip with nuts wasnt me or my hubbys fav but my oldest loved it! i think they used milk chocolate chips for the original cookie and dark for the nut one.
The pastries: The birthday macaron is a 9/10. The only thing my kids didn't like was the flavor of the edible metallic spray, Which is common so I wont hold them for that. The Oreo cheesecake was a 10 out of 10 for my kids. my 2yo ate a whole one by himself and refused to share lol. my son rated the cannoli 7/10. He said it was good but nothing to rave about. He also had a chocolate macaron, And he loved it 20/10!!! My hubby also got a Raspberry cheesecake and he liked it. 8/10. Everything was affordable which was a plus with such a big family.
other notes:the bakery staff was sweet and patient with my kids and answered all of our questions. I love that they have complimentary water by the seating area. The man following us around made me upset but we were on vacay so i tried to "look past it" just this once. The store is very organized and clean and well labeled so you can tell exactly where everything is.
Over all we will be back, and hopefully won't be followed.”

“Better quality and lower prices on produce meats and dairy verses my neighborhood grocery store however with one caveat they cannot bag stuff well. **Bring your own bags and bag your own. Otherwise berries and peaches will be tossed in with canned goods/ raw meat and cleaners, everything all in the same bag and some loose items they deem okay to roll around in my car without asking me. 5 star minus one star for sucking at bagging.”
“Another Big W in the area. It’s in Encinitas but riiiiiight on the border of Carlsbad. Came by to get some filtered water, hairspray, and screws to nail something in. No long lines. Friendly employees. Everything is clean and well stocked and not a madhouse like some other Walmarts. Produce needs some love. Lots of parking out front too.”
