“Love the location. The room was cute and wonderfully decorated and had all the essential amenities. Loved the bed! Would like to have a longer stay than our one night.Awesome fire pit area and garden. We loved our balcony and opening our sliding glass doors (until our neighbors shared their smoking with us ).Because this is a bed and breakfast my rating is four stars. I would prefer to make my own breakfast next time. But love the concept of using ingredients fresh from their garden. We will be back to give it another and longer try.”

“I can't say enough good things about the hotel. I had an issue with my room and Sabrina at the front desk was amazing. The managers Stephanie and Rebecca were outstanding. I've never seen a response like this. The staff are always smiling and the front desk greets you coming or going. The location is primo!! The spa is great! The property is spotless. Bring your bike to head out to Oceanside or LaJolla - ur choice. Coffee shops and boutiques walking distance. I will always stay here when in the area. Thanks Alila for an outstanding experience!!!!”

“I spent every Friday night at a bonfire on Moonlight Beach during my childhood. My mother recently passed and I said my goodbyes to her overlooking the beach. It truly is and was our families little slice of heaven!”

“Affordable hotel close to restaurants, shops and beaches. Breakfast was small with only coffee, juice, cookies, muffins & apples. We’d definitely stay here again though!”

“Such a cute little setup right by the beach! Right near a bunch of local businesses (coffee, food, post office, etc.) Would definitely recommend and plan on staying here again when I come down to visit family.”

“Going to be somewhat crazy and say that my experience here was kinda.. okay ? And let me tell you why. *The room*We got a two queen bed room and saw it was recently renovated, with new lamp fixtures, headboard accent lighting, and a pretty bright vanity light. The bathroom was clean, and the bed was comfortable with clean sheets and a warm blanket. The TV was basic, and it came with a mini-fridge and microwave as promised. My only complaints were small cleanliness things like the coffee maker not being cleaned and small moldy areas in the bathtub. *Service*Everyone here was friendly, from the front desk staff checking us in and out, to the housekeeping ladies who politely asked us if we wanted service at all. *Breakfast*Our room was right next to the breakfast area, which had an assortment of coffees, juices, oatmeal, packaged pastries, and bagels. The coffee was terrible and almost tasted like hot chocolate, and I would've liked a hot selection. Nonetheless, it was passable, and more than enough to get you going on your trip. Going to be honest that I didn't them to even HAVE breakfast. Overall, this place gets the job done. Unless you plan on staying at your hotel all day, none of these issues really bothered me that much. Price-wise, it was one of the cheapest I've found in North County.”

“We found the room clean, beds (2 queens) comfortable, we slept well, loved the dark curtains so we slept a little longer. The only complaint was one cockroach on the wall, which I dispatched with my shoe. I left the body on wall so housekeeping would see it. I did tell manager when I left and he was concerned.Other than that, I’d stay again. Great price, near where I needed to be, and beds were so comfortable!I liked the prepared breakfast bags with yogurt, juice, pastry, granola bar. All properly packaged and chilled.”

“This is a wonderful 30 year old inn. My room was large with a huge deck with oblique view of the Pacific. I am sure the more expensive rooms had direct views.Furnishings were neat and clean with glass tops on all flat surfaces. They showed little wear. King bed was just soft enough and comfortable with great linens.Air conditioning is built into the room, not a unit under the window like most hotels. It was excellent and quiet. Open sliding doors to patio deck in evening was a delight. This is the first hotel I've stayed in that the TV remote allowed one to pause the programming like a DVR. Nice touch. This is also the first hotel that offered free indoor parking, a real added bonus. Breakfast was poolside at the cabana and included several options of hot and cold fair. The location has great Pacific views. It is unfortunately very close to I-5 and associated traffic noise. Turning into the drive is a challenge also. The staff was first rate throughout my stay. I recommend without hesitation.”
