“We couldn't be happier with our experience at the Bay Club. We had originally planned an April 2025 big birthday bash at the club. The Palisades fire hit in Jan 2025, and we had to postpone our party. However, we couldn't think of any other place than the Bay Club so we put off our party until May 2, 2026. It was worth the wait, and we were pleased to help economically support the local community by having our event there.
Alissa Barrera was our Bay Club coordinator, and she was excellent. She was responsive, available and totally pleasant to work with. She kept us informed of key dates, party options, prices, etc.
The venue itself is drop dead gorgeous. We had a cocktail hour on the lawn, and everyone of our guests were overwhelmed with joy at the views and beauty of the spot.
The staff serving drinks and dinner were also excellent and the entire event for 190 guests were off without a hiccup. We couldn't be happier with our event and how successful it was.”

“We had a very last minute meeting, and most meeting spaces in the area were already booked. As a result, we reached out to several hotels to see if any suites offered a separate living or dining area that could accommodate our group.
Kenneth at the front desk was exceptional from the very first call. He secured a beautiful suite for us at a fair price, and the service throughout our experience was outstanding. From the warm welcome at arrival to the in room dining service and the maintenance team's assistance with our AV needs, every interaction was seamless and professional.
We are incredibly grateful to Kenneth and the entire team for making everything come together on such short notice. Their responsiveness, hospitality, and attention to detail made what could have been a stressful situation feel effortless. Thank you to everyone involved.”
“On August 16th we celebrated our daughter’s quinceñera at Adela banquet hall, everything was great from the planning up until the big day. Joseph was great to work with and great at helping us with referrals for entertainment, Photo Booth, bartending and any questions or concerns he was always readily available.
The venue was beautifully decorated, the food was definitely a hit amongst all of our guests. Claudia and Marwan the managers for the venue were very attentive to our guests and provided great hospitality for all our guests as well as helping the night run smoothly!
DJ Evolution was easy to work with and played a great variety of music. Sweet and sour bartenders were top notch mixologists.
Overall we would highly recommend Adela banquet Hall for your next special event.”

“Such an adorable and classy venue for our sweet 16! It was PERFECT and way more elegant than I even remembered it to be when I first visited. We had 190 people and it didn’t feel cramped at all. The food was great. I also LOVED their lighting and visual effects, including the big screen. And their Photo Booth was the best I’ve ever seen! They had so many props. We had an absolute blast! And it was sooooo affordable. Ten out of ten!”

“We absolutely loved the 1909! This was the perfect venue for our wedding and was a dream come true! The venue itself is absolutely stunning and so magical. We barely had to dress it up because it was so gorgeous! It’s well kept, clean, and so beautiful with all the trees. We also loved the various locations we had for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. It really made our wedding feel exciting and dynamic. Thank you so much to Peyman & Mohammed for communicating with us & being so responsive to any questions or concerns we had! We also loved working with Cristina! She was such a help in the few months leading up to our wedding and on the day of! All the small details were handled so graciously by herself and the 1909 staff! “It was my first time visiting this local VFW (2323), I was surprised to learn about this location located right around the corner from me that I hadn't noticed was there. The location isn't very flashy nor does it stand out when looking at the front door from chatsworth st. I was hesitant to come in at first due to experiences at other VFWs, to my surprise when I walked in I was surprised to find that this VFW is actually very welcoming and friendly. As soon as I opened the front door I saw that it was a warm welcoming environment vs the dark and dingy, unfriendliness that I have experienced at other VFWs in the past. I was welcomed in by, the bartender Tina, and a couple other guys, an older gentleman named Arnie, and a younger one named Anthony. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, they showed me around and when I saw the back patio I was truly surprised, it's beautiful, with a fountain, bbq and putting greens, they also let me know that they have live bands Friday thru Sunday. I will definitely be visiting this location again soon. Thank you again to Tina, Arnie, and Anthony for making me feel welcomed”

“The pool complex does not open until Memorial Day weekwnd, May 25th. Open daily June 26-Sept 2. A classic pool. Huge. Lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas. Very good changing rooms with devices to spin your wet cloths dry. There is NO depth less than abt 3 feet. Non-swimmers must be accompanied by adult. They have lots of swim vests.”
