“Over 400 reviews and 5 stars - this is not an accident. They work hard to earn that.
• Price - as listed on the manufacturer's website.
• selection - great selection of quality bikes.
• staff - relaxed, professional.
I was debating between getting electric bike from this shop or from Costco. They told me that the other brand from Costco has constant issues and they keep fixing those for other costumers and there are problems with getting the parts.
They took time to answer all my questions, I tried multiple bikes, they were patient when I had some hiccups with the payment - all while serving other costumers (this shop is busy even during morning on regular day).
They offer some other equipment which I agree on some but they were not pushing.”
“I was skeptical of the 4.9 rating with this place but after being helped by the mgr (Jeff?) and salesman Zack I can say the reviews are spot on! Trek brand has 1000 combinations of bicycles and these guys boiled it down so I could understand the best frame for my style of riding, they allowed me to test ride four bikes on a trail nearby that had jumps, hills, etc. Then over the course of the next few days we found the components that fit my budget and I love the bike I got! Week later I
went back to replace the stock seat (which is often times awful) they gave me a nice discount on a new seat.”
“Incredible service and the prices are extremely fair. My bike got on the stand as a walk-in right before closing. Adamen was nice enough to evaluate my issue (emergency break down mid ride) and got me back on the bike with a new cassette, chain, spring, bearing adjustment, and a quick tune within 45 minutes. All while giving me tidbits of info that will help me take care of my bike better in the future. Having a local
Bike shop like this is invaluable and makes me want to support these guys as much as I can. They’ll soon be offering beer/coffee. This place is a gem!”
“Ryan and Erica are the best. Their store is awesome. I am so happy with their knowledge and quality e-bikes and stellar service to boot!
If you want to buy an e-bike this is the place to go!”
“My name is John Erickson (DaethRide) and I am sure you will get great service at this Trek shop. I have been getting great service here for over 6 years. RJ, Joe, and Joe will make sure you have what you need to achieve your goals. They can’t achieve them for you, but they can help you get there.”
“I just picked up a new Santa Cruz blur. It has been a very, very long time since I bought a new bike. Johnathan was very patient in explaining all the new bikes and the differences. I have noticed that a lot of bike shop employees have huge egos and it is impossible to talk to them without feeling like your not wanted in their store if your not a pro. Mikes in Roseville was awsome! I will definitely be back there to buy another bike.”
“This place is great. Great selection, clean and good prices. Remy is super friendly and knowledgeable and he seems excited to share his love of cycling with everyone that steps foot in the store.”
“Helpful honest people. Love this store have bought about 8 bikes and countless parts through these guys. They've taken the time to fit the little ones for race bikes, and have always gone above and beyond.”
“I stopped by Bob's Cycle Center to get some pricing options for a tune-up on my bike
the manager went ahead and showed me some of his bikes that were similar that he was doing a sale on he was nice enough to let me take a test drive around the parking lot no questions asked I ended up not purchasing this time however if you're in the market for a new bicycle stop by Bob's cycle center on Fair oaks let them know that Jeremy sent you”
“Ordered a Main Wiring Harness for my E ride pro 2.0. They shipped it quick and easy. Highly recommend Hyper Rides. Great service and prices. Was looking everywhere for this part, luckily they had it.”
“Great locally owned spot for all your biking needs! I was immediately greeted and shown the different options for what I was looking for. Made my purchase, and the associate walked the bike out for me, and helped me put it on my back rack. It feels good spending my money at a small business, and it feels just as good knowing I’m getting a quality bicycle!”
“I have been going rafting down the Sacramento River for years. River Rat raft rentals is awesome to rent rafts but it also the best place to get into the water to raft even if you don’t rent a raft from them. Its in Rancho Cordova, We now bring our own rafts and park in the back parking lot behind the raft rental store. Theres a parking lot right next to the river so we blow up rafts there and get in. You pay a nominal fee at the kiosk to park. You raft and then Uber back to your car. When you rent rafts from them, you have to raft all the way to their pick up location which is sometimes a long day, or it can be too short of a day depending on whether you like to pull over to the side of river a lot & hangout, party and jump off the small rock/cliffs. If you don’t watch the time, you could miss the shuttle bus that takes you back to the rental place where your car is at. They require you to be out of the river at a certain time. (If you rented a raft from them)
We rented rafts for many years and it was a blast. As the kids got older and wanted to go with their friends, we decided to buy our own rafts to save money as well as when you bring your own rafts, you can get out of the river whenever your ready at the many parks along side the river and then you Uber back to your car. Make sure you drain and fold up your raft neatly before the uber comes and then they wont mind you putting it in their trunk. Bring a towel inside a dry bag on the raft to sit on in the Uber so you don't get their seat wet. It has always been no problem for us.
Over all, its always an amazing easy, relaxing day on the river!
A couple tips:
Its best to go when its 100 plus out or very hot because the water is extremely cold. You will not be hot while rafting even if its 110*. Bring sun block, hats, sunglasses, food and drinks.
Try not to bring bottles so glass doesn’t get broken and pop your raft or cut someones foot.
They say no alcohol but everyone does, just be respectful, keep it in your ice chest until you start down the river and when you see a sheriff, keep it down inside your raft or put it in your ice chest. Lastly, DO NOT LITTER EVER!! Keep you empties in the ice chest and toss when you get out of the water.
ALWAYS CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF. Be safe and have a blast?”

“In my previous experiences with Mikes Bikes in Folsom, they go above and beyond my expectations. My wife had dropped her bike during one of our nearby rides, that resulted in a bent rear derailleur mount. Not only did they straighten it out and get it shifting properly, they also checked for any available Di2 updates while they were working on the bike. All of this was done while we waited and they didn't charge us a dime. They fixed us up and got us back on the road right away. I appreciate them completely and will share my experiences with them to anyone that will listen.”
