“I typically don’t leave reviews but considering I lived here for a full year, I feel like I should talk about my 100% honest experience here. Let’s start off with the positives, this apartment is on the “cheaper” side for a decent area. In California, you don’t usually run across apartments that are a decent price unless they’re in a horrible area but this area is just fine. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not THE BEST area but it’s whatever, I stayed multiple nights alone in my apartment as an 22 year old woman and felt perfectly safe and sound. My apartment had no type of bugs or mold or anything which was great because I wasn’t sure how it would be, being this was my first ever apartment. Another plus is that the grocery store and a few places to go and eat were right down the street, probably a 3 min drive MAX. Now, time for the cons. Firstly, these apartment that I was in was VERY outdated. These apartments are very old and you can tell because the floor would creak when you’d walk around and I would even hear my neighbors downstairs which was odd because it’s normally the other way around. I know not all of them are outdated but they should really get on renovating all of these apartments because I do not think it’s fair to have people paying the same price for a better apartment (interior). Next, there’s no washer and dryer hookup or fridge or microwave, we bought our own fridge and microwave. At first I was whatever about it but throughout the year I realized how much of an inconvenience it is to not have a washer and dryer inside of your own apartment. They do have ones that you have to pay for but it’s an inconvenience for sure. I just feel like if you’re paying so much for an apartment, it should include these simple things. Lastly, none of the girls in the office seemed happy to be working there. They both always had some attitudes for no reason?? It’s actually just sad how rare it is to get decent customer service now a days especially in your own home. On top of that, they never answer the phone which is very irritating. I worked as a property manager and it’s very crucial to answer phones so I have no idea why they just would ignore phone calls. Lastly, these apartments had one event meanwhile we lived there and it was literally on the day we left ?. Vs our new apartment has had 4 in the TWO weeks we’ve been here which goes to show but I’m out of the state now so maybe it’s just a California thing. Anyways overall, it was a decent experience, my boyfriend and I made lots a memories and made the best out of the situation, our neighbors were cool but that just depends on where you get placed. I enjoyed my stay here at the maple hill apartments and it is a decent first apartment to have. I’m not sure why the reviews are so low tbh. I’d give it a solid 4/5. Oh and we got basically our entire down payment back which was great. I wasn’t expecting it tbh due to the reviews saying how they didn’t get there’s back but if you take good care of your apartment, you should get it back ?.”
“We’ve been pleased with our time at Vantage. Like every complex, they have some challenges but they seem to address most things quickly. Our interactions with the leasing team have been great. Samantha was great to work with and made sure our move in was smooth. Maintenance team is top notch. Special shout out to Robert and Carlos who have responded and resolved our maintenance issues quickly. Parking is definitely an issue for guests. Plan ahead.”

We soon had a water pipe leak in our kitchen, which resulted in us having to go through HOA insurance. Even though Bud was new to our community and its rules and regulations, his experience and professionalism really calmed my anxiety about the situation. My constant calls and concerns were always greeted with kindness and understanding of my situation from every person I spoke to in the company. Bud responded to my emails promptly and was always easy to get in contact with. I highly recommend to give the Weldon Brown Company a try for any property management needs.”

I was out of state on a business trip only to return home and found my entire apartment flooded out by reason of a water tank that broke in the apartment above me.
As soon as I contacted castle park management about my apartment issues, castle park staff wasted no time: it was all hands on deck, within the the space of two days they got me out of that damaged unit and into a new unit and for that I’m truly grateful for the professional standard of approach that was taken.
Things can happen at any point of time, but it all comes down to how you right the wrong, and castle park management team was fantastic. Keep up the good work ladies and gentlemen! I see you ??????”

“Im confused by some of these bad reviews cause this is not a bad place. These apartments are nice for the area its in. Central air & heating. Nice floor plans. They pay for trash and water. Whatever your rent rate is when you move in will stay at that price. It does not move up and thats cause its a privately owned property. I do agree the lack of remotes is annoying tho, everybody gets one upon moving in but if you need more than one then it takes a while. And yes some cars have been broken into (including mine) but lets be real that is happening in every single neighborhood lately. Aside from all the cats and skunks, there's also raccoons ? but again theres animals in every neighborhood. The cats dont stink, the raccoons steal the cats food. And the skunks go about their business. Once in a while youll smell them. As far as staff goes i have never waited long periods to get something i requested done it may take a couple days depending on what it is but i have never waited weeks. Management has always been friendly with me too. As far as electrical going out its cause of the city and not because of the complex. Theres power outages in colton and it can be a pain in arse especially during the summer but thats a city issue. Youll see the electric team come out immediately to fix the issue. I was also put on a waiting list to move here and it is because they are renovating the empty units. Painting and modernizing the floor plan and installing new rugs. Im glad i waited. For those that cant wait then youll have to keep looking. I waited 2-3 months before getting a call back to sign the lease.”

My apartment has a huge patio and the fact that I have a washer & dryer in my apartment makes everything easier. I have never had any issues getting things fixed. They usually come the same or next day. Office staff is friendly. All in all it has been a good experience and I plan on staying here until I buy my house within the next couple years.”

“I've lived around the area in different complexes from student housing to windwood to sterling. Now that university crest (previously bouldercrest) got new management the apartments are sleeker than ever. No more gross carpet, up to date appliances and still a reasonable price. Not only do they look good the staff are always nice and more than helpful. I LITERALLY put in a maintenance request for my air conditioner and they came the same day ordered a new unit and I got it the very next day. Also you cannot beat the beauty of the coy pond waterfall. I'm so glad I chose this place.”
