“The food quality in terms of fresh fruits and vegetables is always better than the grocery store and almost always, if not always less expensive and the people are always friendly and they show you where something is that you're looking for. if you're not sure if they have it, they always take you there. they'll even let you try things out before you buy them. if you want to like food or whatever, I hardly ever do that. plus you can bring things back if they don't meet your satisfaction. just super friendly. trader Joe's is the best!!!!”

“This place is a hidden gem. I being from out of town was glad to visit this place. The young lady behind the counter is very pleasant. Ordered a vegeterian thali for which I had to wait a little while. The quality of the thali items was excellent, like home cooked. Worth the wait. Got a tea, which was complimentary. Hope to visit this place again when I come to California. Thanks a lot!!!

“I cannot say enough good things about the their restaurant side of the grocery store. Was blessed to try the Loaded Baked Potato courtesy of the owner as a gift to our office and let me tell you the flavors were amazing! Potato was cooked perfectly lots of butter and cheese, topped with asada and bacon as well as sour cream it was delicious. Their quesa birrias are 10/10 as well!! Definitely recommend!! Thank you again for the treat!!”

“A buddy called me about 2 weekends ago to come over for some bbq oysters. Can't say no to an offer like that right. They had 2 sacks of oysters front Lisa Star Fish Co. and they were the largest oysters i have ever had!!!! Delicious and very affordable!!!!”

“My husband and I grew up with Aldi in the Midwest. We traveled 3.5 hours to visit this Aldi on a Friday evening. Very clean and friendly staff. My dog is happy with his Aldi finds!
We would love it if Aldi would build a location in the Yuba-Sutter area!”
“Best Yalanchi in town! Stopped by here for a couple items to much on. Love this Armenian Market for fruits, veggies, breads, seasonings, deli items and more! In the refrigerated/area they are stocked with Mezza (appetizer) items like Armenian String Cheese. A great place to stop and pick up stuff for when family or friends are stopping by. Back to the yalanchi though. For those who are not familiar, they are stuffed, chilled grape leaves with a seasoned rice mixture inside, typically with lemon juice, onions, oil, seasoning, and tomato sauce or paste. I can't speak to their exact recipe, but it tastes the closest to our homemade ones we make as a family. I have tried dozens of various businesses, restaurants, etc...simply put- this tastes like grandma used to make, and now what we make. But instead of hours of prep and labor...unless you do it as a family as a special tradition of course...stop by this place and just buy some! Rice is not over or undercooked, leaves are consistently rolled appropriately, and texture is great. Good size too! Flavor- delicious! When purchased, they are chilled and piled in a Styrofoam container. Customer service is great as well! Lots and lots of delicious ingredients and pre-made products here in this special little market. I highly recommend it!”
