“Harbor Brakes was outstanding; truly a great experience. I came in and spoke with Tam at the front desk and told him I needed to be out within about two hours. Sure enough, the job was done in about an hour and fifteen minutes, which completely exceeded my expectations.
The car was in and out, and everything came out great. The entire staff was friendly and hardworking, and the office was very clean and welcoming. If you do have to wait, there’s a TV playing movies, which makes it a really comfortable environment.
Tam is professional and knows exactly what he’s doing. He’s knowledgeable and straightforward, which I really appreciated. As a local, it was great to find a solid, reliable shop right here in my area. I’ll definitely be coming back for future work, and I believe they also offer other car modifications; just make sure to ask Tam.

“Hybrid 911 gave me the best customer service , and the hospitality. They fed me tacos even after they were closed for the day. The service provided was so fast and smooth even when my car was down right before the new year. My hybrid battery was replaced within 2 days . This is the best place for hybrid battery repair and replace. Much cheaper than the dealership and the warranty is longer too. They did a great job! Will recommend to everyone I know with hybrid cars”

Explain your situation in detail, describe the noises as best you can, give them an idea of the knowledge you have about your own vehicle & they WILL without a doubt find & fix your car no questions! They are reasonably priced & the saying goes “you get what you pay for” & if you just want cheap then go somewhere else. If you want excellency & realism & good work bring your car there! I’ve been here a few times & not once have I been disappointed. They work quickly & Pete & Harry are as honest as they come. You won’t be disappointed. “Had a front bumper with a part missing that exposed a hole in the front of my car that needed replaced. The car itself worked fine but over time it was clear it was going to structurally come more and more loose so it needed repaired. It was a 2019 Camry and after getting some quotes near where I live (west side LA/pasadena)— I reached out to them being a fellow Korean and wanting to support— and drove all the way down to garden grove because even after interviewing everyone else— I felt like I could trust them the most.
They did an awesome job and completed it all at a fair and reasonable price (especially compared to all competitors closer to DTLA/westside) and most of all— with incredible turnaround speed. Communication was super fast, clear, direct, and concise and language barrier is not an issue at all. Even if you’re not Korean or near the area— if you don’t wanna get ripped off or just want an honest, direct experience— would highly recommend you work with them.
Special note too— I dropped my car off to get fixed over the holidays right before I flew out of town to visit family. They called within just 3 days of leaving town that the car was already done, and at the time I was scheduled to arrive back within a few days and we scheduled on picking the car back up then— but then the LA wildfires happened + a number of personal things in my life and so I wouldn’t be returning for another week or so and they were understanding and held onto my car as long as they reasonably could. I ended up having to stay with my family longer than anticipated and so we were able to arrange having a friend pick up my car on my behalf and they were super easy to work with and coordinate all that too.
Overall— 10/10 experience. Effective. To the point. Job done well. Attentive and considerate— And all at a fair price. I was just a fellow Korean looking to support and get some good work done and in the process found a real gem and some very honest, good-working guys. Would recommend anytime and will be going to them for any more issues in the future.”
