“Not since I was a young boy/teenager/young adult visiting my relatives in the 475-person (+/-), very, very small town of Chamois, Missouri, have I even felt remotely close to the level of hometown, highly personalized financial services that you receive everyday at the GFCU. While all of their employees are awesome, the two that I have dealt with and who have taken care of me perfectly (not an exaggeration) for years and years are Branch Manager Laura M. and VP of Operations Arpi K.! I've had to go thru three major financial reorganizations, as the result of my not staying focused on my finances as I should. Laura and Arpi have treated me like a family member each and every time, and have never made me feel poorly for the way I've handled my affairs. Their second reorganization allowed me to finally purchase a brand new 2020 Toyota Camry SE, literally just one month before Covid hit, which saved my caboose, as I'm a Type 2 Diabetic! Even though I still maintain a few accounts with one of the largest banks of the Pacific West, the STELLAR CUSTOMER SERVICE I have received from Laura and Arpi from Day 1 has been ... and will continue to be unparalled! What is so astonishing to me, is that it seems to come so naturally them ... never forced. And let me tell you, throughout my adventurous financial travels with the GFCU, I've needed a lot of "hand-holding" at times ... and not once was my hand in need not being held and guided to the calming state you feel when your whole being simply knows that only your very best interest is being protected and supported by the PHENOMENAL GFCU FAMILY!! I went few very well know Banks like 4 different Banks. was no use at all. thier staff were a nightmare to deal withThen by chance i saw East West Bank and i walked in 520 N central ave Glendale Ca 91203. And that was the best decision i have made. Staff were amazing kind, nice and courteous. I met Mr. Kevoni Hayranian. The guy was fantastic. well mannered, respectful and polite he opened my account and was very friendly. i had a great half and hours with mr. “I love this banking cafe! I come here very often to get work done and don't like the library because it's too quiet, so this is the perfect place. They have a bunch of seating available which is good because they are usually always busy. They even have private study rooms that you can take based on a first come first serve basis. The cafe inside is good as well but overpriced. The staff is also very approachable and friendly! They are very inviting and helpful. Overall, I would skip on the coffee but definitely my favorite place to get work done!”

“I have several accounts at the Glendale branch and have been given first class service. My banking agent, Patrick, has always been very responsive. He set me up with a credit line for overdraft without me asking so never a bounced check. They facilitated my company's PPP loan. They have been very helpful. So far, way better than B of A or Wells. I've also had some issues with Chase but generally Chase was good. I have accounts at all of them but nothing beats the small bank attitude!”

Marine the manager is always prompt with utmost professionalism , Sveta the teller , Ray and Chris and the big guy Anree are super helpful and call you by your name. “If you are looking for banking, be sure to look at Banc of California. I am a long time Bank of America person but have a separate account here for LLC's that I have. They just have better pricing.
If you are in the Burbank or Glendale area, or anywhere in the valley, be sure to look up Karmen Edgarian. She is absolutely amazing. She listen's to you, looks for the best deal, even if another bank may have it. Not many people do that.
And yet she is fiercely loyal to Banc of California and seeks new innovative ways to drum up business, but not at the expense of the consumer. She truly enables a win-win situation.
Karmen is truly a one of a kind banking professional. She alone is worth checking out the bank. She cannot be recommended highly enough.”
