“Guerrero Market has terrific food! Tacos and tamales are $2.50 each, and the tacos are loaded with meat. Tamales were delicious as well - would definitely come back and order en masse for Christmas. Everything comes with green salsa, which was good enough that I'd drink it straight. Also ordered a cup of champurrado ($2.50 as well), which was yummy -- though too sweet for me to order again. Definitely a great hole-in-the-wall. There's three small tables in store if you want to dine in. There's a small dedicated lot for parking. Not many high traffic businesses in the plaza, so it's an easy time.”
“This German store, with its house-made cold cuts, is pure heaven for me as a native German. They carry almost everything I miss when I think about truly good German deli meats: Gelbwurst, fine Liverwurst, Jaegerwurst — and best of all, a salami I couldn’t find anywhere else. The very best, and at a price where I can’t even get an ordinary salami here. It’s called Servelat — one of the finest salamis there is.
And then the sausages — oh my goodness. They even have the famous Nürnberger sausages, just like the ones you get as street food back home (three small ones in a Kaiser roll), as well as Swiss white sausage. Absolutely delicious. And that’s just the beginning.
They also offer a wonderful selection of cheeses. Their breads are shipped half-baked from Germany, so you can finish baking them at home — or buy them fully baked in the store. On top of that, they carry a great assortment of German groceries, sweets, wines, beers, and frozen items.
But what truly stands out is the wonderful and incredibly kind lady behind the counter, Armine. She has been working there for many years and is always friendly and welcoming. She knows her craft well and clearly cares about what she does. She’s definitely one of the reasons I always leave this store with a smile — usually after buying much more than I planned.

“Glenoaks Meat Market got the best marinated meat ? for BBQ, they got really good koobideh meat, Kabab, lamb chop, chicken kobab and a lot of other good stuff !!! They also got fresh vegetable and bread !!! If you live in the 818 area this is the place where you get your meat from !!!”
“I have come here several times. Its been awhile now because i live so far far away from here. I was in the area recently and we stopped by to pick up some fresh great meats from Dvin Meat Market in beautiful Glendale. I picked up some beef, Lamb, Chicken, Not any pork. Owners and workers pic out some of the best meats and butcher them. Inexpensive meats, Depending how many pounds you purchase. I am always a happy camper when i have the chance to shop here.”
“There is a small problemPeople confuse this place with same ownership of next door located Nairi Banquet Hall I have not been there inside but I wrote about it since I ve been told by other visitors gone there .About this market please check my previous entry .Just to say again .Nairi is really a great. “Feels like a small European grocery. Produce is very fresh. Helpful staff. I much prefer shopping here and supporting small business than shopping corporate chain grocery stores. A unique selection of Eastern sweets and accompaniments. Butcher serves up fresh and marinated meats. Top notch.”
“I really like shopping here. I would give it a 5 star only if it wasn’t so busy all the time. They have many registers, but it’s always so crowded there. I change my mind. I will give 5 star.
