“My favorite SoCal lake. Far enough away from Los Angeles to be very peaceful and fun to fish. Had some crazy amazing fishing days here. Also had some humbling days here, but all in all, I always have fun and enjoy this lake.”
“The price here is very cheap at $4.99, there are not many people, and there is no need to queue.
I like to refuel here without having to queue.”
“Good price on gas ⛽️ over $1 cheaper than stations nearby.. for some reason Google doesn't show them when you search for gasoline.. the pumps are a bit sketch but it worked with the tap despite saying "coming soon".. also only the premium lights blinked but unleaded was available.. so there are some issues there but worth saving the money ?”
“This is the cheapest gas in the area. If your gas light is on and you are going down the 5 and it's been hours since you left Castaic behind and you are super freaking out about gas, first you'll see the gas stations in Gorman, and you will be tempted to stop. Because you need gas and probably a potty break. But trust me... You can wait until Frazier Mountain Rd. It's only like 2 more miles and most of it is downhill. You can coast on fumes and hold out for Flying J. Because it's cheap, big, and clean. We walked in to find the restroom and my daughter looks around and says, "Why is there like... everything.... here? What kind of gas station is this?" "Well, it's a rest stop. Not just a gas station. It's supposed to be a place to rejuvenate." "They've succeeded," she said..I agree. They have their Wendy's, some decent seating, spacious shopping, clean bathrooms, and even a decent selection of last minute snow play accessories. Stop at Flying J. You'll be pleased.”
“Is it an Arco thing?! Just like the one located at Santa Nella, it is the cheapest gas station around the area. I mean, what a difference - I saw another not too far from here charging up to $0.60 more per gallon! How does that even work? It was the most crowded (reasonably) but easy to get in and out of. Keeping them in mind for my fueling needs on a NorCal/Socal run.”

“Great place to get gas well lit at night. Very clean outside as well as inside the store. They have a big selection of snacks and hot and cold beverages. Food Court with hot meals including pizza. Cold sandwiches, Cinnabon and Dunkin Donut express. Very friendly staff. They also carry items to keep you on the road, motor oil, antifreeze etc. Restrooms and Showers available for purchase.”
“I will never forget my last visit here to get gas. I hope it never happens again. It was snowing hard and my gas level was down low. I was so thankful to find a gas station. It was so cold that night. Must have been about 10 PM It was such a welcome sight to see hot food in a gas station. And on this freezing cold night especially. The hot coffee was never so good. And a nice hot dog really hit the spot. After filling up on gas and food and packing up some snack food I hit the hiway once again. Wide awake and warm. However, the road was solid white and the snow was coming down like crazy I wish I had stayed at the gas station longer. I never had a scarier ride in my life.”
