“This place is busy because the gas is one of the cheapest around! Located off the freeway and main street. They also serve hot food inside the market. Known for their breakfast burritos. Friendly staff. Good coffee. I paid 4.60 a gallon for premium today which is pretty good for Grass Valley!”

“Arts station is our go to station when we need gas for the motorcycle, car and tractor. It's easy to get in and out. Art is a great man, always asks how we are.”

“Best Gas has the best prices if you’re paying cash!! They’re always at least 10 cents a gallon less than everyone else. If you need a snack or beverage the store is well stocked!”

“Y'all talk like you don't know what's going on in the world outside of your cozy little hamlet! Gas prices are dictated by supply and demand., not the local dealer. And bitching about the staff won't help because you get what you pay for. Most of these people are trying to eek out a living. Since most of you think that they should be grateful for your business you always have an option to go elsewhere. Search on "cheap gas" and you'll see that ampm isn't cheap at all. Another suggestion is don't fill up when the tanker is dropping off a new load. You're guaranteed to get air in your tank. Mixing different gases will always contaminate your gas lines. Use your head and don't be so anxious to criticize!”

“I visit here regularly during my work week whether it be to get Red Bull's or tacos from their deli. The food they serve is delicious and affordable and for the most part the service is great. I love Lori that works here and Greg is always very kind and personable as well. If my review was based simply on my experience with their food and the service I have received from those two it would be five stars hands down however, I have on two separate occasions had bad experience with one of the other lady's who works here. She is extremely rude and lacks customer service skills. The first time I was trying to help a new older lady ring up my order because she had done it wrong and in the process the lady in question took over and tried to charge me a second time for something I had been charged for wrong and not given proper change for then proceeded to tell me people don't usually learn well when people are laughing at them, mind you I not once laughed I was merely trying to help her fix the situation. Today I had gone down with a co-worker and we had three orders that needed to be rung up separately and when I told her how they needed to be done she looked at me commenting "fun" then asked if I needed receipts for all of them as well. I let her know that that was not necessary and my co-worked commented "we try to make it easy on you" at which point she just looked up at her with a look of disgust on her face as if we were making her do something completely out of the realm of what she should be. I am to the point I don't even want to go in here when this lady is working because it just frustrates me and I can't stand the lack of customer service skills.”

“They are SO helpful and nice! The gas prices are in the middle of the pack but more than make up for it inside. EVERYONE I've met has been professional, hard working and super accommodating. They're mountain-friendly, enough said. It's a gas station, with a "convenience store". It's not a ginormous over priced ampm. They don't have any silly mascot, which never mattered much to me anyway. (seems like it helps keep the prices in the "store" a little more normal... if you can do without the mascot that is)”

“Although I don't buy my gas here (too expensive even with 20 cents off a gallon when using your Safeway card) I still use their car wash. They have different prices..10 dollars..12 dollars..and 15 dollars. You can also include add ons.Location is right off the freeway (corner of Auburn and Main Street) on Grass Valley. They also have car vacs and a place to add air to your tires. They do serve hot food inside (never tried it) but could be a good option if you ate traveling and need to pick something up quickly.Overall I am pretty happy with the car wash!”

“Best gas price (credit) in the area. This station has consistently very good fuel prices compared to most other stations in town. Very small but worth it for a fill-up”

“My visit here was nice and easy no issues , the location is small but convenient which is great plus they have plenty of great items to select if your needing a little something to hold you over.. also a large selection of liquor and a few different grab an goes if that's what you need.Overall convenient location but store is very cluttered like when someone says "10pnds in a 5pnd bucket". Not sure if this is the norm for these but if there was brighter lights and less clutter down the aisles and checkout counter it would be perfect.Thank you!”
