“If you're a Dodgers fan, this place is a must stop. Lance has personal stories about players, the Dodgers, and the LA scene that go back to the 60s. Imagine bumping into Vin Scully at a store like this and taking time to listen to him tell wonderful stories about years and seasons from the past.
On top of that, I can vouch for the integrity of man that Lance is. He had one of those broken bat lamps the Dodgers used to make from actual broken bats from the games. My mom has wanted one her whole life, and he had one on display, but not for sale. After hearing how my mom has wanted it as the final piece for her future Dodger room (lady cave), he sold it to her, for a very fair price.
Thanks Lance, we'll be seeing you real soon, as we might have moved up to the area. And the Dodger room went from an idea to reality fyi.

“The Sports Forum never disappoints! About a month ago I stopped in Pismo before heading home and per usual made a stop into The Sports Forum. It was pretty early on a Sunday and at the time they were one of the few shops that were open. I began talking to the employee and lo and behold the employee was the owner. I mentioned to her that since I was a kid my family would make annual trips to Pismo and we always came into her shop because it was "cool" and wasn't like anything we had in the Valley. This tradition has been going on for 39 years now. I mentioned to her that since having my own son (9y/o) he loves to go in and check out the merch. He had been looking for a Joe Montana jersey and during this particular visit and the one prior, the store was out of stock. The owner was nice enough to ask for my phone number and said when they got a new shipment she would let me know. Well, she held true to her word and contacted me about a week ago. We conversed via text and I asked for shipping details, price, etc and she was gracious enough to ship me the jersey and it arrived within a couple of days. The point of this post is that The Sports Forum is unlike any other sports memorabilia store you'll fined in or out of the area. The fact that the owner went out of her way to contact me and take the time to ship me the jersey speaks volumes of her and her business. I'd shop here or contact the Forum before going to a large chain store (i.e. LIDS) for their uniqueness, hospitality and prices. Thank you again and we hope to pop in soon!”
“Adam from back east location in customer service was very helpful. I've been playing hockey since I was 7 and have played on a few state champion teams, and even played with the Road runners seminars league. Why did I bring that up? No not to brag about me.. but to brag about Adam. I wish I would have that type of customer service back then. I would have given a 5 stars...but they stopped walk in sales. Its important to be able to touch certain things. But it's California... not so big on hockey.”

“Not sure why the reviews of this joint are so low.. Came in a while ago and picked up these sweet jeans that were on sale. Since I moved to California I have been trying to adapt to the new swag and style these kids have. The gentleman working (didnt get his name unfortunately) worked with me and helped me pick out the perfect pair of jeans that would attract the likings of this newer generation. He told me, "This is it, chief!" when we found the perfect pair. Overall an amazing shopping experience and I've gotten many compliments from the Pismo locals.”
