“So I had a serious family emergency and phone calls to AVIS were not working. My sister was stuck in Mexico after her rental was taken overnight. Found out it was towed away and of course they were basically holding it hostage. All calls to AVIS were not helpful, they either hung up or didn’t pick up. So she called me for help and I rushed to the AVIS she rented from. Luis was a huge help. He guided me through the steps on how to deal with it. He collaborated with Stephanie and they got me some information to pass on to my sister. Mexico wasn’t going to work with us because of their corrupt ways so they team out here gave solid advice on how to move next. I really want to thank both Stephanie and Luis for their sympathy and expertise. I’d love to continue doing business with AVIS as long as the company has representation like this. Please give a ton of praise to both of your prized workers. Thank you.”

Truck was almost brand new in great condition and everything went outrageously smoother than previous U-Haul rentals at the Gardena location. “I received a good price on a truck that was dirty and unclean. Dorito Chips in the cab, wood splinters and dirt throughout the truck interior. Gas tank was not full when I received the truck. It was not a budget truck, and they did not accept my insurance, and encouraged that I must purchase the additional insurance. I received a different truck size than what I reserved.

This other Budget in Torrance is filled with non English speaking scammers. They speak English to me, then they talk trash in Spanish, and behave poorly as service agents. I would never rent from them again, because they are lazy thug scammers. I would rent from the Hawthorne Budget again.”
