“The reasoning that I am giving Hawthorne true hardware store. We've been having a lot of bad weather, rain and wind well a few weeks ago when the wind was blowing so bad it blew a mess of my screen door so I decide I will try to fix it myself took my cell phone and took a few pictures and went to the hardware store in a gentleman by the name of Michiel help me the very nice man he's been in that store in Harthorne community for many years he told me what to do gave me what I needed and send me on my way. I repaired the screen better when the first two gentlemen called them self putting it up from the beginning wow! I was so proud of myself. Thank you, Mr. Miguel, you did a great job, and as well great customer service you are the best.”

“Our three children have attended each kids workshop on the first Saturday of the month every month this year... today was the first time we had a complaint. I called the store and spoke to the manager, Ricardo about our concern. He listened. He was respectful and understanding. I felt heard and satisfied with the situation. But it wasn't over. Ricardo took the time and care to follow up with me and the kids. An associate of the store, Raul, delivered projects for our boys as well as beautiful poinsettias! We are blown away at the concern and care given to our communication this morning. Thank you Ricardo and Raul!”

“Good prices, knowledgeable staff willing to help you get the right part! My heater blower motor died just before a birthday dinner party. With their help I got the correct motor for a 50 year old heater, Kevin even reviewed the pictures I had and checked the fit of the new motor. It did require a rubber adapter to fit in the old frame. They gave me a good price and had the new motor in 1 day. It was a fairly easy install and my heater is back up and running in time for my party. You might find parts cheaper on Amazon but will it be the right part? How would you handle a return? Will amazon give you any advice? Working with a local company is SO much better.”

“I went to Home Depot on Wednesday and it was one of the best experience I've had in any retail store Hannah and Jennifer were the best, they help me with everything I needed. They help me find the vacuum I needed they were very patient and they knew what they were doing. Big shout out to them. I will definitely come back.”

The reason why I checked in and I'm leaving a review for this particular Home Depot is it was nice and clean. Parking was not hard to find. There wasn't a million people in the parking lot trying to sell you food Services etc. Well maintained. I know everyone has to work and I'm not knocking anyone's Hustle but I do not want to go to Home Depot to buy some tamales out front. I'm going to grab something and go. When I walked in it was nicely organized the staff greeted me and help me find what I needed to. At the paint counter they answered all my questions with no attitude. “To whoever curious because spray paint was locked up, you should know that that's a California criminal law requirement. It's not Lowe's fault. (If you want to look for somebody to blame blame taggers.) I also think the public should know that they offer discounts to seniors but you do have to ask. I'm not crazy about any of the huge stores because I really don't want 10,000 choices I just want some reasonable ones so that I can pick--but I can guarantee you the store has never mistreated me in any way shape or form.”
