“Fantastically smooth experience. An accident ruined my family ski trip. Mike made my car whole again within two weeks. Mike is Very professional, courteous and responsive. Accident happened on the weekend and Mike took the car in on the weekend while all other body shops I contacted couldn’t. Mike took care of all the insurance adjuster communication so I didn’t have to be distracted from work and family to take care of one more headache. With two weeks, the car was back shining again. Mike gave us one year warranty on the repair free of charge. When we found there’s some small problems with the operation, Mike took the car right back in based on my availability. He was so kind that he also gave me a ride home. The small problems were taken care of within two days. Mike even repainted a small section in the trunk that didn’t look perfect. Big thanks! I went to several places in Hayward and San Leandro to get estimates and other places made me feel like they were trying to milk me for every dollar. Except for Daniel at Performance Paint & Towing, Daniel was honest and reasonable with what needed to be done. I dropped my car off and 3 days later I got it back as if there was nothing ever there! “Abraham and the team at Palladium Auto Shop took care of me and my car. I was pleasantly surprised with how my repair turned out because in the past I have damaged my front bumper and grill and took it to some place in concord, CA and they did a poor job attaching the new bumper back on. Fast forward a couple years later I collide with another vehicle and had it fixed at Palladium and it was like I never even damaged my car, like ever! Thank you so much Palladium! Im going to refer my family and friends to you guys from now on. Also avoid General insurance at all cost, they work like snails. I filed a claim in July and barely getting it resolved before the new year.”

“I came in originally to have my transmission fixed (my car could not go in reverse). Mike made a great impression from the beginning. He was courteous, friendly, and very helpful. In addition to fixing a stripped gear he also noticed a bad bearing and replaced that as well. The price was also reasonable. In addition to that he fixed a leaky oil pan and did other general servicing on my car. When I had a problem getting the car smogged due to no power in my OBD 2 port; Mike went above and beyond to help me resolve the problem. I book tow trucks a lot and have been burned by the many dispatch tow companies that promise timelines but an hour or two later you call and they can't find your order they already charged you for or have info on your tow driver.NorCal is the exception, I have used them several times for tow assist jobs and they continue to exceed expectations. They arrive ahead of schedule and do quick , professional work. And they have reasonable rates. They provide faster call times at competitive rates even when I am booking jobs 30 minutes from their yard vs local companies. If they are in driving distance of my tow job they will always be my first call.”

“I came to get some work done on my car I would say it was pricey but what did I expect if I wanted the job done right but only reason I gave 4 star Is because I needed to get more work done on my car and they told me to get my own parts then come in ? I came to the shop so I won't have to deal with any of that now I have to look around for another auto shop I guess they don't want my business I would love to return for honest work but don't know anything about finding parts thanks again .”

“Very surprised at the negative reviews. My truck was in an accident & CHP used Jack James tow on 09/04 around 6 in the morning to have my truck removed. My mom came with me 09/05 (yesterday) to get my truck out. The lady at their office who helped me was very kind and explained everything to me. I felt comfortable with the charge, as I have never been in a situation like this & have heard horror stories about needing to pay $700+ for a tow & one night of storage. She gave me a printout that clearly listed the charges & even included directions for how to get to the actual tow yard. When I got there, I was absolutely heartbroken to see the damages on my baby, but Alex was respectful when letting me onto the lot to remove my belongings from my truck. It needed to be towed out so we called our insurance provider, who sent the wrong truck. When the driver arrived he said he did not have the proper equipment to tow my non-operable vehicle. We struggled with our insurance for about 4 hours trying to get the right tow truck to do the job, & we wanted to make sure my truck was off the lot before their lot closed at 5pm. Alex saw us waiting a while for our truck & came out a few different times to let us know if we needed anything he was there, we could just knock on the gate, he'll be around, etc & then closer to 5pm he let us know that he'd be leaving soon but that there are other options if the tow truck comes after 5pm, we could call their office again & they could send someone else to open the gate so we could get my truck out. I thought this was very kind of him/the company to offer, I had assumed we would just be stuck accruing more fees if my truck was not out by 5pm. After several hours of going back & forth with our insurance who made this whole situation a nightmare, we decided to just call Jack James' office again & see if we could pay them out of pocket to tow my truck to a repair shop since my insurance company was far from helpful. Without any hesitation, Jeanine accepted. I am not sure if Jeanine was the same woman who helped me when I went to pay my bill at their office (who was also very nice), but she was extremely kind over the phone & sounded genuinely eager to get this situation resolved. I read a lot of reviews about items being stolen out of peoples' vehicles, rude attitude from the women at the office, and just overall "horrible service." I left a lot of valuable things in my car, & I was nervous that stuff would be missing, but to my relief absolutely NOTHING was removed from my truck. The ladies at the office were pleasant in person & so helpful over the phone. During the most saddening & frustrating time while I was dealing with the loss of my truck, Jack James really made the situation bearable. Would certainly recommend them, & they will be the first people I call if I ever find myself in need of a tow again.Service: Car towing”

“Amazing people. I was waiting from 9 pm to 3am for my insurance tow truck to come. Never came. I waited 6 hours in an empty parking lot feeling frustrated, cold and uncomfortable ... they're the 3rd tow truck company I called. I'm I happy did. The service was above and beyond. Katie answered the call first - I was on the phone with her for 14 mins, shortly after Jake and Sunny came to tow my car. Everyone made sure I was comfortable and felt safe. Sunny & Jake took the time to ensure my car is properly placed on the driveway as there is another car on the right side. I trust this company and will def call them if I ever need to be towed. This is my first time getting my car towed. I'm grateful that it's with people who cares. Thanks y'all! Life Saver.”
