“doug and his team are very informed in what they do and can be counted on to do the job correctly with a quick turnaround.
i dropped off my cummins pickup after over tightening a fitting and cracking the case. they had the transmission out quickly and within a couple days had it torn down and were able to inform me i was going to need a full rebuild rather than the case swap i had come in for. they did not hesitate to send pictures of the smoked clutches and any evidence backing their claim.
they had my truck done in under a week and the price was fair for the quality of work and customer service i received. the technician that performed repairs on my truck also answered any questions that i had so it’s always a plus to get to talk to them. i’d bring them any of my vehicles for transmission work and recommend them to anyone looking.”

“I had an issue with my 2015 Nissan Altima and need to replace both my Rear Brake rotor and pads. Brian was clear and gave a fair range when giving a quote. When I brought my car he checked the gauge and said front brakes are ok and dont need to be changed.
He and his team quickly worked on my car and finished the work before the estimated time.
If I ever have an issue with my car, I call Brian as he is very knowledgeable and he is fair and I value his input.. I strongly recommend Brian and Automotove Service & Repair for any car repair needs.”
“We had such a great experience with Dino! My mom’s car needed a flatbed tow because the steering wheel was completely locked, and he went above and beyond to help us out. He stayed in touch the entire time, kept us updated, and made what could’ve been a really stressful situation go so much smoother. One minus: I found small new scratches in the repair area, not critical.

“I had a severe flat tire on highway 880 and had to park in a dangerous location (narrow shoulder on the left side of the highway, with many cars passing by me very fast and close). All the services I called from Audi/GEICO estimated to arrive in 2hours... Zack arrive within 30min, saved me out of the danger location, got me home safely and helped me change to a donut tire. All on a busy Saturday evening. I’m really grateful for his excellent work and kindness.”

I went to several places in Hayward and San Leandro to get estimates and other places made me feel like they were trying to milk me for every dollar. Except for Daniel at Performance Paint & Towing, Daniel was honest and reasonable with what needed to be done. I dropped my car off and 3 days later I got it back as if there was nothing ever there! “I noticed that my car was louder than before so I assumed that it was time to get a transmission fluid change since it's been long overdue. I called rainbow auto and Mario told me that he could take care of me the same day. After a quick test drive he diagnosed the issue right away and notified me that it wasn't my transmission, instead it was a broken ball bearing that was making that sound that had been haunting me for weeks.
He broke down the pricing in a clear and concise manner, ordered the part, and was very transparent about the issue. He also let me know that it wouldn't be dangerous to drive on while I waited for the part to arrive.
Since the job has been completed, my car has been running seamlessly and I'm very thankful that Rainbow auto center made an often stressful situation so easy. Will definitely come back for my next repair and would recommend them to anyone including family members.”

“So incredibly kind and compassionate. I blew out both tires on a Saturday night. Most tire shops are closed, but they quickly found someone and called ahead to ask them to stay until I could get there. They arrived in record time, loaded me up quickly, and got me there right before they were closing. Both folks (driver and owner) were amazing and made what would have been an incredibly stressful experience into just a hiccup in the day. I hope I never need their services again, but if I do, they will be the first people I call.”
