“This is one of my favorite stores!
I carrie’s Japanese character items like Sanrio, unique snacks and tons of storage ideas and more, all at a good price!”
“I recently visited the grocery outlet in Richmond, and I was pleasantly surprised by their very low prices and a large variety of various products. Also when I went to pay, I got a cashier name Diana it was not only very friendly, but extremely efficient and extremely quick She thanked me very politely and warmly when we were done, and she was a real breath of fresh air. I had a wonderful experience due to her professionalism and friendliness”
“Its pretty good. Our clerk wasn't rude but just not too customer or people oriented.
If the parking lot was cleaner and newly paved it would give a cleaner first impression.”
“While each grocery outlet is slightly different, they all share that awesome value that we all appreciate. Thank you for the ability to survive in today's economy.”
“This location is staying open. The shelves were full, they have a small grocery section. Clean store and nice staff. It's going to be busy since all the other stores are closing.”
“Seriously, this place doesn't look like much from the outside, but they literally have tons of items for kitchen, bathroom, toys, everything at great prices. I highly recommend you check it out if you pass by.”
“One of my fav stores in these expensive times. Great prices 2 words of advice. If you find something you love buy it in bulk they may not have it next time. Second check dates to make sure it's good”
“For the value of what you get at this place, clothes that people think cost much more, I will always give this place 5 stars! The dressing room changes are super inconvenient and I waited so long I almost left. Not sure why they can't bring the old ones back.”
“I love doing my shopping ? here that have exactly what my family and I need. Be it clothing, house hold items to different kinds of food items. Come one come all explore to your hearts ? content.”
“Has a lot of little things you might need besides drinks and food it also has cleaning supplies and paper plates and things like that. They also sell liquor and beer that's what someone's looking for.”
“I come here once in a while. Never had a problem and have found items here i've never seen in other stores. Usually not too many people, and I've had nice conversations with other customers. Appreciate that this truly has a neighborhood feel. My only complaint is that you need to watch where you park in the parking lot because the cart may not be able to go to your car due to the wheels locking. Anyways, will be coming here again since it's convenient to the freeway.”
“I hope this place never closes down. So many convenient finds at the most affordable cost you can find nowadays. A gem!
I hope they don't suffer the same fate as the 99 Cents Only stores.”
“Smaller than most stores. Friendly staff. Same as every other dollar tree, they need more employees scheduled to keep line at the register from getting backed up. This has been an issue every time I've shopped at these stores.”
“It’s a standard store. It’s pretty clean and organized. I’ve found it better to go after 4pm less crowded. I’ve never seen them with more than 2 cahiers.”
“I visited this department store for a home renovation project and needed everything from paint supplies to furniture. The staff was exceptional in guiding me to the best options for my needs, always prioritizing quality. I was impressed by the durability and aesthetic of everything I purchased, and the prices were very reasonable. It was great to find such high-quality items without breaking the bank. I’ll definitely be back for future projects!”
“This dollar Tree is one of the best in the area. The only problem is that it's the only one for Berkeley, North Oakland, Albany, and nearby El Cerrito. So there serving a large group of people being closer then others. So sometimes the shelves are bare. But the employees are nice and welcoming. And dressed nicely. The next store is San Pablo and it's always trashy. Stuff thrown all over. And bad attitudes.”
“General Dollar is my favorite store for everyday essentials. I recently bought some kitchen gadgets, and the staff was incredibly helpful in making sure I was choosing the right items. I was amazed by how high-quality the products were for such a low price. From the cleaning supplies to snacks, I always find great deals. The service is quick, and the staff is friendly. It's a perfect place to save money without sacrificing quality. The value is undeniable, and I can always count on this store for budget-friendly shopping.”
“Great people great prices. Awesome service. I was in a hurry for a small kids bday party and they had everything I needed excluding the cake. If they had this would have been the true one stop shop place”
“Not that Vallejo doesn't have plenty of discount stores already...(I've counted at least 10 so far) but at least this one is brand new and clean. Since this is fairly close to my house I decided to drop in for some quick gifting project stuff im going to be working on soon. Thankfully everything I needed was there including some things I wasn't exactly looking for but surprisingly found. Another great attribute is that they have a restroom open to customers and that is scarce to find with COVID-19-and all of its variants floating around. Please keep it open! If all else fails and you don't find what you need there...as I said before there is no shortage of discount stores... There happens to be a 99cent & more store just across the parking lot, so no need to fret about the little every day things....somebody's gonna have it.”

Discount Stores
“We loved it ? my son and wife got phone covers and other odds and ends. I got two baseball caps (Grogu and Demon Slayer) for $5 each. Most items are $5. Saw $3 , $1, $10 and candy at 10 for $1 ? thankfully this location opened last November ??”
“Well organized, good customer service, affordable and more consistent products in-stock when compared to other discount stores in area (i.e. Ross). Great choice for home goods, cleaning supplies, organization bins and seasonal decor, and furniture.”
