“I stumbled upon these guys when I wandered into a surf shop with my kids in Rhode Island, and I spotted a thick long-sleeved surf T shirt that reminded me of the kind I wore when I was a kid. It quickly became a staple of the summer wardrobe.
Fast-forward to Christmas: My nephew just moved to LA and requested clothing that reflected a more California lifestyle. I have no idea what Gen Z is wearing in LA, but I know of a great California surf shop that might do the trick. My nephew loved the gifts so much, he started them wearing minutes after opening his presents. So, it turns out great beach clothing can cross generations.
These guys clearly are detail oriented. They’re a throwback to a time when people cherished favorite articles of clothing and those shirts or shorts would last years.
True, styles change but the desire for something comfortable after a long day at the beach never does, at least for the people who truly love the beach.
I will caution, though, communication is one way with these guys. Two emails went unanswered in a week, and I gave up ever getting a response. Whatever. The clothing is too good to hold it against them, and what do you expect? They’re surfers. They’re probably at the beach.”

If you’re looking for more variety, you’ll have to go to Dick’s. However, Big 5 may have the item you’re looking for, but maybe not the brand you are looking for.
Store is well organized and clean, although the AC system was leaking when I was there and they had a kiddie pool on the floor to collect water. Hopefully that gets fixed soon!
The employees were somewhat distracted with the leak, so not very helpful. The cashier up front looked miserable and was genuinely surprised when I said I would give him my email to save 10%.”

“I was looking for an auto racing helmet at a physical store instead of buying online. A couple of places have closed their physical store in Orange County and was glad to have found Sube Sports. All of the online searches had results for motorcycle helmet places. The gentleman was very helpful, patient and was able to will call the item because I left my wallet at home and I live about an hour away. Thanks again for the bell helmets”

“Scotty is the best in the business! Don’t bother shopping for ski boots or going to a store until you’ve had a free consultation with him. It will inform what boots are best for your feet. I went all in and got a custom footbed and moulding process on my boots and it’s a GAMECHANGER!! Highly recommend! Scotty is one of those guys who cares about you feeling the most comfortable you possibly can and his passion for it is contagious. Book in now!”

Joe upgraded me to the new model without even being asked and let me know it would be shipped when they arrived in the US after I called in to check on the order. I am now one of the first people around to get to own and shoot this beautiful rifle! “This might be long winded, but necessary to express how impressed and thankful I am for this company. I am a novice at ordering equipment but read reviews online on places to order gloves and equipment. So I placed my order online thru their website, after doing much research prior.
The gentleman called me to give me a status of my order, then proceeded to give me a much needed history lesson on all the top glove manufacturers out of Thailand. His kindness and valuable information, along with taking the time to spend 20 minutes on the phone with me chatting, has given me the utmost respect for OTM Fight Shop.
