Obviously dog friendly, wonderful staff, and a shady place to rest while your pup licks the ice cream container clean! Can't beat this!!!

Not only were the salad and entrée fresh and delicious and big enough for two, but we also received a sampler with four (!) smaller portions of high-quality desserts. Each and every one was on-point, and big enough to get two nice bites for each of us.
Try to plan getting a meal or three from Tommy while visiting Idyllwild! I can't think of anywhere else that you can get such an absolutely amazing meal for two people under $25-. Thank you, kind sir!

It's small husband and wife operation. Amelia and Jim bake all their donuts and pastries fresh everyday. There is a big variety and they are all amazing. If you are ever in that neck of the woods, I would definitely give Amelia's Donuts Bakery Cafe a a try!

Both my duck a l’orange and my husband’s filet Eric’s style were excellent, and my portion was twice as large as what you would usually expect. The atmosphere was extremely pleasant, and even the live music, which I’m usually not a fan of, was wonderful. My only regret is that we didn’t discover this place until the last day of the trip - we would’ve eaten here every night. Can’t wait to come back!

I didn't get a picture of the food...i ate it to fast. With that said in general I am not a burger person I need to be craving one....this one was delicious ?

54423 Village Center Dr, Idyllwild-Pine CoveStopped in while visiting "The Yosemite of the South." Lots of outdoor seating but it was super busy so we sat at a hightop near the bar. They have 12 seats at the smallish bar. Typical pub menu of burgers, sandwiches, apps and salads. The cheese curds were very good and came with an interesting dipping sauce. Good beers on tap but they're kinda pricey. They were playing great music and had sports on two TVs (a few more outside). Good for family or drinks with friends. Weren't overly friendly and seemed rushed, but they were busy. Friendlier when it came time to pay.

25980 CA-243, Idyllwild-Pine CoveOne of the best sashimis I had, hands down! We got the 9pc sashimi (albacore, salmon, yellow fin) and it was so good, fresh, soft and tasted like milk. We also had the pork katsu and beef teriyaki bowl which were both delicious. Serving size is huge and share between the two of us. We even took some of the katsu and teriyaki home.
Service was quick and very friendly. The chef/owner even went out to check on us. This was a perfect meal after our 5.2mi hike.
