“I crossed the border by mistake at midnight, and got lost in Mexico, hit the curb on the highway, two of the tires along with the front suspension completely busted, Mexican highway patrol came and paid him $300 violation and $100 to tow my car to the border, tried to get a used tire but it costs $90 dollars each, luckily found this shop in San ysidro, $215 for two brand new tires installedBut I still need to get the front suspension replaced!I spent over $1000 dollars and two days for the mistake that I made!”

“Came here this morning 10/14/2023 to get a slow leak in one of my tires looked at, turned out I had a nail in it. They fixed no questions asked! While I was there I inquired about some tires for my QX56 with a gentleman named Arturo. This guy not only took care of my slow leak but he also gave me the best deal on the market for a brand new set of tires. After replacing my tires Arturo informed me that my car sounded weird when they started it and asked if he could take a look at my Battery, he showed me that my Battery wasn’t holding a standard 12V on the charger and gave me an incredible deal on a brand new FVP Platinum.So with all that being said, I have one more thing to say and that’s Thank you to Arturo and the American Tire Depot for truly taking care of me and my Vehicle’s!Highly recommend asking for Arturo if you have any Vehicle issues, this guy is a no nonsense type of guy that gets straight to the point and gives you his best price possible!”

“Went in after car had been overheating a lot and I noticed my coolant was draining somewhere I couldn’t see, they were able to determine where it was leaking from and inspected other nearby parts for fluids (like oil contamination) and parts of the car that might also affect it. Really thorough even after finding the most obvious cause, where most mechanics would stop. Really good price for them to order the necessary replacement parts and labor, really fast turnaround, and updated me regularly on things they found and what they suggested / recommended. I saw a lot of negative reviews on more established places in the area but the reviews I saw here were all so good I decided to give it a try and was a little nervous but I definitely wasn’t disappointed! So much so I was like now I gotta leave a review, which I’ve never done for any place ever and probably never will after this but I feel like I gotta help this business get out there after their amazing service”

They are a little expensive, but it's well worth it because you get out of there with a great feeling and peace of mind regarding your vehicle. “AMAZING - EXCELLENT - GREAT - I had spent 4 days, many, many hours looking for a diesel fuel filter for a 1973 USN 15KW Generator with a White, 4 cylinder diesel engine. If not for OIL FILTER SERVICE I would have had to install a completely new diesel fuel filter assembly. I showed Archie the filter case and he walks into the back room. 3 minutes later, as if by magic, he walks out with a Fram C14APB filter element, which Fram no longer makes.But of course he also gives me the only current manufacturer of the filter element (Baldwin PF 906).Wonderful people, and EXCELLENT SERVICE, and a real knowledge of the filter business.What an absolute pleasure doing business with a company like this !!!My little filter only costs me $7.63 plus tax.But they treated the same as if I was a $1,000 customer !!!!This is a company that represents the old fashion way of doing business !!!OIL FILTER SERVICE is now my go to source for filters.”

“I’ve been to this location 2x now and yes, there is sometimes a wait, but I feel like this is due to the thoroughness of the mechanics. Everyone has always been very nice, professional and explained things when I had questions. Edmundo was also monitoring my transmission fluid change and coaching another associate. The staff is always nice and I will be back, even if there is a bit of a wait. As far as pricing, the fluid changes are pretty comparable to what you would pay to do it yourself.”

“I have been coming to Econo Lube in Imperial Beach for over 10 years. I know nothing about mechanical work needed on cars. Every-time I come here I feel confident with the Owner Kevin’s honesty that he will only tell me if something is needed if he knows I must change it. The Employees are fast and efficient. I had oils changes, brakes done, air filters. I have always been impressed with the work. My oil light recently went on and I called Econo Lube and spoke with the Owner Kevin. He said hurry bring it in. I did, he checked my car and told me you need to go to the dealer as it is still in warranty as soon as possible. There is a known issue and they will put your car though a process for a new engine. I did what he said. The dealer then asked for all this paperwork to approve the new engine. I went back to Kevin and within 5 minutes he had all the documents printed and organized of oil changes for the dealer to approve a new engine. I submitted everything to the dealer and received a new engine. He saved me soo much money. Anytime I hear stories of friends and mechanics, I am quick to recommend this place.”
