“I can't say enough good things about my experience and California Credit Union and the Branch Manager, Richard Cowell. I have accounts in a number of large banks in the area and have always had problems when I need help. There is so much red tape and getting in touch with someone is impossible.Richard Cowell has helped me numerous times in the last few months. He is easy to get in touch with and has gone out of his way to help. Whenever I have had a problem, I send him an email and he usually responds within minutes. He just let me know about a great rate on a savings account of 4.75 percent without my money being tied up in a cd. He took care of everything for me and set me up. I really appreciate that you don't feel like a number at California CCU. They are great!”

“Small office in an industrial area. Good rates on money market and savings accounts. Loan processing can be a little slow, but the rated and in-house service is worth the rate. This location, maybe a coop, which means they service other credit unions as well. Consequently, they do request identification on all transactions. Credit Unions have always been a part of my financial portfolio.”

“This review is for the service I was provided by Janelle Morales and her branch manager. I went in to the branch to get assistance with a maturing CD that I was having difficulty getting assistance with over the phone. Her professional knowledge allowed me to immediately speak with the correct person to resolve the issue. My loyalty towards CCU was renewed because of her efforts. I felt it was necessary to acknowledge the outstanding customer service that she provided. It was a breath of fresh air.”
“2/5/25: Building is nearly impossible to enter. YOU MUST ENTER OFF Los Angeles STREET through the staff parking lot. If you do not know this, you will waste 20 minutes walking around the stupid building. It is infuriating. God help you if you are disabled and trying to do this. Also, they basically just trapped all of their employees in a giant fire hazard, so they will all burn to death because they won’t be able to leave the building quickly enough, in the event of a fire. Staff at the bank is fine.”
