Since I'm a member, I referred my military son to Mr. Rincon. His overall professionalism and rates were better than the military credit union offered my son, and he was approved in less than 24 hours.My son was stunned. I wasn't because I had bought a vehicle before with the help of Mr. Rincon, and the rates were unbelievable. My son shared the rates with his Sergeant, and the Sergeant couldn't believe the rates Cal Bear offered.Overall, another excellent and professional experience working with Mr. Rincon at Cal Bear. “I had the occasion today to visit this branch as I did not care for the lack of courtesy that I got from my normal local Burbank branch. Straight away I was greeted with 23 ounces of respect and courtesy via a sincere how may I help you today? From this branch manager to his agents whom listened to my needs and took action to give me an update via a foreign collections matter. I left with a smile on my face knowing that they will follow through:) Easy to find parking, pleasant staff and again I was treated with a degree of courtesy which one would hope to get from their bank and where they've done business and or held an account for as long as Ive been working in the television and film industry. Looking back this same branch gave me my first loan way back when I was a runner for Epic and Vision Films in the 90s. Thus I have but good things to say and good thoughts to think of this branch and the sincere service they provide.”

This will be my 9th year with WPCCU, and they have been better than any bank I've banked with my entire life. That being said, I would like to commend Salvador. I was recently struggling with some issues that seemed overwhelming, and with a few minor questions Salvador helped me to open up. “Today my husband and I visited this branch after being told that we would need an appointment at the Spring street location. The young lady from that location stated that she messaged someone at the Main Street location and they said they we could come in right now. When we arrived, the staff had no idea why the young lady said that because she had not spoken to them. It was time for them to close for lunch. But instead of turning us away Mike (MSO) and Evelin (Head teller) went out of their way to not only help us, but to provide excellent customer service! What an amazing team at this location!”

“I can't say enough good things about my experience and California Credit Union and the Branch Manager, Richard Cowell. I have accounts in a number of large banks in the area and have always had problems when I need help. There is so much red tape and getting in touch with someone is impossible. Richard Cowell has helped me numerous times in the last few months. He is easy to get in touch with and has gone out of his way to help. Whenever I have had a problem, I send him an email and he usually responds within minutes. He just let me know about a great rate on a savings account of 4.75 percent without my money being tied up in a cd. He took care of everything for me and set me up. I really appreciate that you don't feel like a number at California CCU. They are great!”

I also have a credit card with them and just requested a credit line increase -- which they approved. Everyone that I've interacted with in the bank and over the phone has been pleasant and helpful. There was a website glitch on Forest Lawn's side and she patiently walked me through using my external bank to set up bill pay. “Some of the best customer service I've ever received. Robert in customer service just helped me with a ACH fraud dispute. He was thorough and empathetic. In the past, I've also had great experiences with their customer service reps and branch managers. I wish their mobile app had the ability to deposit into IRA accounts and I wish the daily deposit limit was higher than $5,000. Occasionally, I've had to go to one of the USC Credit Union branches in person to deposit checks. However, that's a small price to pay for their excellent customer service.”
