“This is a small store but they carry lots of vegan brands that you would find in stores like Whole Foods. They also have some of their own vegan meals, prepackaged and ready to eat - like a vegan breakfast burrito and vegan Alfredo pasta. I discovered some new things here- like the "so good" brand miso mayo dressing! The selection differs day to day. Some days they sell out of some options, like the vegan cupcakes. You need to come back when they restock. That's the only con. Updated from previous review on 2023-07-10”

“I recently toured the asap facility. The cats are so well loved & cared for. I am amazed that there’s an amazing program for senior cats… if you foster a senior cat, ASAP provides food & vet care for them. It’s the 4th of July today and I plan to visit my furry friends this afternoon. Thanks ASAP… y’all provide an amazing service to our Santa Barbara community:))”

“**February 2024: Monday Late Morning Visit** I've been to a number of Assistance Leagues throughout California and I really like this branches selection and layout. They have a wide selection of women's apparel and four dressing rooms. In the back of the shop are the higher quality items that are also separated by garment type. It has a very boutiquey feel to it and all the volunteers are super sweet. Prices were very fair/competitive to other thrift shops, but I scored a long sleeve and slacks for half off. The next time I'm in the Santa Barbara area I will definitely be back!”

“I was grateful for the food deliveries from Food from the heart. This food really is from the heart. The meals are nicely packaged/ the meals were fresh and real dinners - lunch and breakfast were given, along with fresh fruits and vegetables. A positive news letter was also given with the meals that will give you some giggles while you’re recovering from surgery or any other illnesses that limit you from providing yourself with meals. I loved the homemade meals- grateful and blessed.”

“I have been going through issues with Uber as I have been driving with them for the past year. As of the annual background check, 2 issues were found, one over 20 years and the other 30 years ago. These issues have prevented me from driving with uber and applying to Lyft. On July the 6th, I went to 2 different courts to get the clearance documents.I then uploaded these cleared documents to Checkr and to Uber, which now puts me in another waiting period. I called Janet M of the BBB of the Tri-Counties who assisted me before with a different issue. She was gracious enough to give me this insight on the best way to approach this stressful situation and I thank her for it. She made my experience with this A LOT easier.Janet has helped me again to write a COMPLAINT against Uber so they can change their PROCESS to be more helpful. I highly recommend ANYONE who has ANY issue with ANY company to reach out to the BBB of the Tri-Counties.”

“If there are paranormal experiences, 'criminals lurking', and 'even homeless people' (oh no!!) at St. Vincent's, it sounds like exactly the place where Christ would be. Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” -Matthew 9:12-13”
