“This is a small store but they carry lots of vegan brands that you would find in stores like Whole Foods. They also have some of their own vegan meals, prepackaged and ready to eat - like a vegan breakfast burrito and vegan Alfredo pasta. I discovered some new things here- like the "so good" brand miso mayo dressing! The selection differs day to day. Some days they sell out of some options, like the vegan cupcakes. You need to come back when they restock. That's the only con. Updated from previous review on 2023-07-10”

“Great location in SB, Trader Joe’s always seem to have small or difficult parking lots to get in and out of, this one is on legendary mode. Still a well kept store with super friendly staff.”

“European Deli offers a wide variety of European and Middle Eastern groceries not available in most stores. Their selection is good and prices are usually reasonable.”

“It's always a fun and great experience to wonder the aisles of the Grocery Outlet.
On my latest trips though I have found items that either weren't priced at all on the shelf or mislabeled. Case in point today I bought about 2 dozen items, and just noticed at home that I was charged $ 4.49 for cereal that was clearly marked $ 1.99. I bought two boxes . I was busy bagging my groceries and didn't notice the price discrepancy until I got home. An overcharge of $ 5.00 .
The only reason I bought these was the $ 1.99 price. Disappointing.
These days every $ counts .
Lesson learned and checking my bill before leaving the parking lot next time.”

“A good mix of local and regional, including Mexico, nuts, veggies including Sunchokes for example, and fun cheeses along with related baked veggie products. All in a former gas station where the south-facing outer stall has table seating to chill out or picnic alongside a flower-shop's cart while augmenting your nearby restaurant/cafe takeouts.”

“This is a great and very friendly place. It's local, Santa Barbara and Toni, the owner is one of the nicest guy you will ever know. I've been shopping there from after it was was old gas station, late 1970's. What a great job they do. I appreciate them so much.”

“Large, reasonably-priced grocery store in the area between Santa Barbara proper and Goleta proper. Fresh meats, deli section, limited selection of specialty cheeses. Large beer & wine selection as well as hard liquor. More expensive labels are only available with customer service assistance. Large produce section with plenty of fruits and veggies. Toiletries and other non-food items you'd expect from a grocery store. Cash, credit/debit card payments. Self-checkout as well as human cashiers.”

“Fathi is awesome. Genuinely, it's been a pleasure to have met and built a relationship with him. Great conversations and stories can be had there, along with a wide variety of your "grab and go" convenience needs on the Westside of Santa Barbara. The early bird DOES NOT catch the written here though!”

I had the pleasure of talking to the store manager, Tina, and she was able to answer all of my questions, as well as help me with everything that I needed. They provide quality products with very good deals, and made grocery shopping a wonderful experience.”

“If you're looking for an Asian-focused market in the Goleta/Santa Barbara area this is a great option. Wide selection of various Asian food products including Chinese, Korean, Indian, and Japanese. Cookware and other kitchneware items also available. Some fresh-food or frozen food items as well. They sell PG Tips tea if you're into that, along with a decent selection of Asian teas and alternative hot beverage options. Get Hi-Chews here also. Friendly staff, cash & credit card payments.”

“More hot breakfast burritos please! I can never find one. Also, could you please carry those little 2-for-$1 bags of Doritos and other chips to go with sandwiches. Thanks!”

“I have been walking here from my house in the neighborhood since I could walk; Westside Market has been a staple of the westside for decades. IMPORTANT INFO: THIS is THE only place to buy lighter fluid/butane in I think all of Santa Barbara after 9pm (til midnight!)PS fun fact: Elias used to own this market; he's the best! Now he owns the smoke shop on De La Vina and Mission called Paradise Smoke Shop; pop on over there for all your tobacco and head change needs ? He and his son run an awesome shop! Cheers!”

“I had a great experience at the Albertsons on Hollister Ave in Goleta. The store is very well-maintained and the employees are super friendly. I especially loved that the Starbucks inside was giving out free samples! I tried the Double-Smoked Bacon, Cheddar & Egg Sandwich, and it was delicious. Great service and a very clean store”

“Great store, great selection. But what I love the most are the discounts near the restroom — an excellent opportunity to grab something nice with 50–70% off!”

“I have been here about four times and have always been pleased. I love how it's both a restaurant and a busy market. There are nice booths in front near the street. Parking has gotten way better since the Project Connect re-striping. And if you use a bike or the bus to access Old Town, you will find it much more safe now.”
