“The Orchids were extraordinary. I didn't want to leave. Great displays, friendly informed vendors. Places to sit and rest. I bought a photograph of a Cymbidium Orchid from one the artist in the art work exhibit of orchids, also on display with the live orchids.”
“Just met the owners/family at the Santa Barbara Roar and Pour. By far the best table at the event and the friendliest! They also had the best wines out of everyone there. I will definitely be heading to there shop for more wine.”

“This space is the heart of our community. I spent countless hours here when my kids went through year-after-year of ballet. I stop in now and then to see what's going on with the many programs housed in the facility. I have noticed that the Pickleball activity is vibrant and seems to always be active. This is a special place.”
“Amazing place - it seems shut down I just drove through . I think I could’ve got off and walked around. There’s a gazillion giant greenhouses there still that looked kind of abandoned. I’m not sure what’s going on with this place but I enjoyed my little off freeway adventure.

“Good experience overall. In line with other 5 star hotels although I understand why some folks are complaining. Service was okay, not 'wow'.
We did an anniversary getaway between Christmas & new year. Overall pleasant.
(relevant for Amex card holders) My only complaint is they didn't properly apply my Plat credits for one of our breakfasts so we got overcharged a little over $100. I called the hotel to fix, charge was reverted but then posted again. Not worth the hassle at this point for me but I'd recommend you keep an eye out at checkout.”
“The Rv park manager was super helpful and friendly. Someone else had taken our assigned space but she got us into a better space. We are very grateful and happy with the camp manager helping us have a pleasant stay.”

“Ucsb's Thunderdome/event center is one of the Premier athletic facilities in santa barbara County. Host to the ucsb gauchos, basketball, volleyball and more. Also a popular venue for local concerts and big events within the county. Rival teams fear of the thunder, small but resonates with all they attend. Recent 2025 modifications modernized seating for comfort and aesthetics. VIP area with padded seats as well.”
