“went into the shop by accident and saw they’re appetizing sandwiches. gave it a shot and also they’re chocolate chip cookie. employee was super cool and hooked up the cookie since i was a first timer coming from the OC. safe to say the best chocolate chip cookie i ever had. the sand which was on point!”
“I live here and I love walking around the grounds it never gets old.they have an almost daily tours.its beautiful inside and out.so much history so much to see its a work of art go up to the clock tower and look out at this city,back in the day I would of said beautiful city,but I grew up here and to me it use to be so beautiful.. they tear downto many old beautiful buildings.if you go to court house take a tour they are free,all day,on most days,you see wedding parties going in and out of courthouse.it was almost 5 pm when I past a wedding party. Today
much to see,and appreciate the time and talent of the people that built it..its one of the old beautiful buildings that will never get torn down..”

“Highly recommend this colorful garden sanctuary for both locals and visitors from afar. The views of the SB Mission and the nearby mountains are stunning, and both can be captured beautifully via photography, if time allows.
One suggestion for the park managers is to review which rose plantings are missing labels/signs, because for several years we have been trying to identify a few orange/amber rose varieties, and signage has rarely been available in these cases.
Thanks for a picturesque and engaging garden experience, so proximate to the grandeur of the historic SB Mission.”

“The Orchids were extraordinary. I didn't want to leave. Great displays, friendly informed vendors. Places to sit and rest. I bought a photograph of a Cymbidium Orchid from one the artist in the art work exhibit of orchids, also on display with the live orchids.”

“I had my wedding here and it was perfect. The ceremony on the grass followed my cocktail hour in the patio. We got a dance floor, but it could not be placed out in the patio. It had to be placed in the buffet area. It was still beautiful.”

“My dog Captain loves MacKenzie Park. He's been going here since I first adopted him from Spark Rescue Santa Barbara. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 star rating is because the 20lb or less area has no shade. On a sunny day more than half the day that area will remain empty. The large dog side has all those pine trees that give it an amazing amount of shade. With this recent heatwave, it was just to hot. Luckily Captain is 75lbs so we are in the shade. Except for that, it's the perfect place. I hope they'll do something soon. It really isn't fair for small dog owners.”
“If you want excellent tri-tip this is the place to go. They began as a market selling a variety of beef cuts including the local favorite, tri-tip. They sell marinades and can also pre-marinate your meat if you so desire. A few years ago they launched a restaurant and catering service which is as delicious as the meat they sell. Highly recommended!”

“We had such a great time at the Kimpton in Santa Barbara. Beautiful hotel,great staff and good sized rooms too. We were there for several days and it was great. We also booked to stay in a suite and it was quite big. Plenty of room for two people and your suitcases. It’s in a very walkable part of SB close to lots of bars,restaurants and the beach. Huge shoutout to the staff members Tommy,Jake and the guys working at the valet. Tommy went out of his way one night to make us a cup of tea when it was a bit late and was super helpful with recommendations. Jake and the boys at valet were very kind and even charged our Tesla a few times without us asking. Something we really appreciated. We will be back next time we’re in Southern California!”

“Are in town dropping our son off at college and decided to make a weekend of it. Stayed here and had the most relaxing and beautiful weekend EVER!
I have to mention how incredibly amazing our waiter, Ameen, at the O'Bar was. My husband was craving nachos 🫣which are not on their menu but he went out of his way and asked the chef if he could make them. He came back with the most amazingly delicious 🤤 nachos that days later my husband is still talking about.”
“I stayed one nights and it was lovely. Vanessa was so welcoming and helpful with the check in. The room was incredibly charming. It's not the Ritz, but it has a California coolness about it. Vanessa told me the best restaurants on the street for dinner. I met Alex in the morning and she showed me the lovely breakfast spot just down the street. You can walk all over the town from here and also to the beach 10 min. I have a nephew studying at UCSB so I will be back there again soon!”
