“Villa & Vine was the perfect venue for our reception last week! Everyone commented on how beautiful it was, I mean EVERYONE! The venue is just absolutely gorgeous. The food really stole the show, though. People were just raving about the food-- from the appetizers to the dessert and everything in between. My coworkers liked it so much, they’re trying to see if we can get it catered for our company Christmas party. The waitstaff was exceptional. I had multiple guests mention their attentiveness and the amount of staff provided, even on a Sunday evening. Five stars!”

“This was an absolutely amazing meal!! Beginning to end we loved it all. The fritters were delicious. Duck was cooked perfectly and the desserts!! You must save room for the desserts. Do not skip the coconut cake and for chocolate lovers the marquise is divine. Run don't walk to Jane if you are in the area!!!”

“Beautiful grounds and building. Take the free tour to learn all about the history but you can also self guide your own tour. I took the free 10:30am tour and I really enjoyed it. You’ll need to go through a security check before entering. There’s bike parking on the grounds just past the entrance door kind of tucked in behind the arch way to the right. There is a observation deck all the way at the top and on your way up, you can see the bells that ring on the hour. You can walk stairs or there’s an elevator.”

“Such a beautiful spot by the beach. The indoor seating is still very nice, but the outdoor view is beautiful, especially on a nice, warm day. The food is very good, I've been here for both Brunch and dinner. You can't go wrong with any of the items. Only reason I give them 4 stars, is I wish their plates had a bit more flavor. Service is always quick and helpful.”

“My dog Captain loves MacKenzie Park. He's been going here since I first adopted him from Spark Rescue Santa Barbara. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 star rating is because the 20lb or less area has no shade. On a sunny day more than half the day that area will remain empty. The large dog side has all those pine trees that give it an amazing amount of shade. With this recent heatwave, it was just to hot. Luckily Captain is 75lbs so we are in the shade. Except for that, it's the perfect place. I hope they'll do something soon. It really isn't fair for small dog owners.”

“I recently attended an event here and just had to say what a gorgeous venue! Tall lengthy green palm trees, close enough to the coast where you can feel the breeze of the ocean, some shaded area in the event it's warmer than usual but overall friendly, welcoming atmosphere!”

“The Waterman was one of the newer Marriott spots here in the Santa Barbara area. I was finally able to stay here because the prices dipped down a little bit.It's in a very cool funk zone area. The rooms are very cozy and eventually they will become part of the Moxy brand under Marriott. It's a very cool spot. I'm not sure what it used to be in the past. Maybe a warehouse like most of the other establishments around here? The front staff was very accommodating hospitable. There's a general kitchen area that was communal and fun where you could buy drinks and snacks. The rooms are not the biggest here. I was in a room that had a Murphy bed come out above on top. I was very tempted to unlock it, but it look like it would be really tough for me to push back into the wall. There's a lot of character here and a cool place to visit if this is your vibe. Not sure if I would come back again since I like larger spaces, but if you want to stay in the Funk Zone this is where to go.Had a great view of the pool and a lot of cool things were in walking distance so were able to explore parts of Santa Barbara that I hadn't the time to walk-through in the past.”

“We needed a spot at the last minute. There were several openings here with basic RV utilities for a good night's sleep. The woman in the caretaker residence feeds the local crows which were so much fun to watch. And she's very nice too.”

“Eos Lounge is the coolest club in Santa Barbara! They always have the best DJs, friendly staff and a beautiful, unique atmosphere! Thursday nights are my favorite with bumping house/techno music, Fridays and Saturday’s are always a good crowd too. Since they have the best sound system in town you’ll find renowned DJs from around the world spinning here. Simply the best, love you EOS!”

“The property itself is pretty nice, more of a Spanish villa vibe on the outside, and inside just a splash of modernness. Valet was the only option for parking, and as you get out they definitely do take the time to greet you. The check in process I won’t rate since there was a large quantity of guests checking in due to several events but it was a bit on the slower side.I would say that the staff in general, actually make a difference in the vibe of making it feel luxury. The greetings, and smiles are genuine, and the attentiveness was better than most higher end hotels we’ve experience. The food in general from room service to the restaurants were a bit underwhelming when you contrast the amazing service you receive.Room service had burgers - was a little dry and under seasoned. The Restauraunt at the top of the hill undercooked my steak twice. The saving grace here was that they actually recognized the mistake and I didn’t have to say anything, and made it right for us. Everything else though was great, they left little notes in our room, went the extra mile and made it feel like unique experience. If the food was a little more up to par this would be an amazing experience.They have a golf course on site, spa (smaller), walking/hiking activities, beach access and tennis.”

“Very nice hotel. Has an old world feel. The staff are very professional and attentive. Nice to have a restaurant attached the food is good but they need vegetarian options.The room is a bit small with a king size bed but I was very comfortable and have stayed at the Mira Mar down the road but I prefer the old world elegance of the Montecito Inn.Walkability: There are a bunch of great shops, cafe's, bars and restaurants easy walking distance. CVS across the street.”
