“Visited this shop today after going on a long memorial ride from Los Angeles. The owners and staff were friendly and attentive. Considering it was almost 100 of us, they treated us with respect and patience. Next time I'm in the area I'll make sure to pay another visit to support this small business.”

Additionally, there isn't much risk in buying something new. They will take back anything you don't like, or anything that may not be of the best quality when you open it (very rare this happens).

“I love supporting local businesses with local graduates from our high schools. This little market has grown so much from its humble beginnings and is expanding all the time.
I come here specifically to buy Tomahawk steaks for my clients when they sell or buy a home as a closing. It's been a real big hit with my clients, particularly the young veterans, and it's one of the few places I know for sure they'll carry it year round.
They carry a wide selection of prepared foods and grocery items. We have even purchased our ? turkey for Thanksgiving here and Christmas prime rib.
Staff at the meat counter are friendly, quick to answer questions, and efficient. You can always call and ask for the meat counter if you want pricing over the phone.”

“I like this trader Joe's because it's larger and newer than many other San Diego County trader Joe's which results in wider aisles. The staff is excellent and friendly. But the biggest plus is that they actually have plenty of parking! Yes you heard me right. A trader Joe's with plenty of parking!”
“A fabulous gourmet supermarket. They have a buffet of vegetables, stews, olives, soups... all exquisite. You serve yourself, you pay at the register and you can eat at the bar that is in the same supermarket or you can eat at the tables in the square. I recommend it to you.”
“I love the produce and fruits!! A dozen large brown eggs are only $5.99. The bakery has my favorite baklava, bread, chocolate ball, pizza, and more yummy products. I also love the fresh squeezed fruits and vegetables. There's just so many great options in one store!!”

“Albertsons/Vons is the only store chain to continue carrying Pomegranate arils! Ralph's stopped stocking them & Smart & Final haven't carried them at all. Albertsons/Vons has a better selection of frozen and canned foods. A bit more expensive but when I can't find something at Ralph's, I go to Albertsons and find it every time!!”
“So I called and spoke with Chad in the meat department and he was very willing to help me. Before making a trip to the store, as I had already went all the way to Sam's club, I called to see if there was any briskets available. He said happily said yes. Get to the store and there was only 1 out so the employee that was in the aisle working in the department just happened to be Chad. He was able to bring out 4 to look at and choose the one we liked. He was a happy and very friendly guy. I will definitely return to this location!”

“This is a gem in Jamul! All the employees are super friendly and helpful. They are way more than a liquor store. Good selection of wines and beer plus groceries and essentials like milk, eggs and bread. Don’t get me started on the candy selection. lol. Love this store!”
