“This store is very close to Salt Point SP. They have brewed coffee, a big variety of cold drinks, ice, drinking water, meat and produce and packaged foods. There was a selection of items you might need while camping. The man there was friendly and the prices, while higher than my usual store, were not outrageous.”
“Such a cute old fashioned establishment, but they have pretty much anything you need, in a pinch, and probably don't need, but you can't resist.
Their deli sandwiches are pricey, BUT, you create it your way, AND, it is HUGE. I made two meals out of mine, and that was minus chips or any other kind of side.
Lovely staff working there.”
“Great store! Has everything you could possibly need on vacation.
The deli is your best bet if heading to the beach. Sandwiches are $9.49 and come on either a choice of rolls or sliced bread. Lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, jalapeños, choice of cheese, and sauce. They also head deviled eggs, tuna salad, and various other things.”
“I’m a connoisseur of old school general stores in the Cazadero General Store is one of the best. It feels like you’re walking back into time everybody’s friendly and greets you. They’ve got everything you need. It’s a pillar of the community the place where people go to meet hang out and find out what’s going on in town. Feel free to order one of their great sandwiches and sit out on the front porch and watch the world go by I love the Cazadero General Store.”
“This is one of those stores that's deceptive, in that from the outside, it looks small, once you go inside, it packs more than you think it would.
It really is an all-purpose store with all kinds of sundries, food items, fresh veggies, wine and drinks and all sorts of stuff.
In stopping here, we were in search for panko and brie cheese. Yep, they had 'em and I was kind of skeptical at first if they'd have them. It was another one of those times I was glad to be proven wrong.
So whether you're in the area for a day-trip, a picnic, camping or moteling, this is a reliable place should you need something.
Oh, and there's a dedicated parking lot for the store as well.”
“They pack a lot of items in this building. The guy behind the counter was helpful and friendly. I didn't use the deli, but they were ready to serve. We ended up going back for another shopping run.”
“I remember going to this Safeway when I was barely a toddler.....50+ years ago and its still going strong. Good service, decent prices. Weird place for a bathroom tho.”
“The Fort Ross Store sure is a welcoming place, from the moment we walked in we were treated like family.. only without the drama, and unwanted opinions that the Aunts pass out left and right!
What a great selection of local goods and the deli is top tier by anyone's standards! We got a couple of BLT sandwiches, of course mine had to have ham on it as well, and they were some of the best sandos ever!
5 ☆☆☆☆☆'s and well worth the road trip from Napa!”
