“Just got back from store getting chicken feed, impressed again by selection and help at counter. Looking to upgrade feed for the wet winter months and they had exactly what I needed at a great price. Like Ken D. I've been buying feed here for over 25 years, and they always have the best selection and quality hay for horses (no black fly) at fair prices. If you haven't been by in a while, Hardware is on another level, all restocked and with hard to find items nobody else carries, (HD & Lowes). Thanks again Ladies! you really are the best. SRW”

“Went in and ask where I could find mouse traps and they told me exactly where they were. Found what I wanted and did self checkout. In and out fast. Store was clean, neat and well stocked.”

“This store is one of the cleanest hardware places I ever shopped at. I was needing a faucet stem and didn't know much about them, not the case anymore. I learned more about faucet parts at this location in about a half hour and I'm sure if I would have got help from an associate I could have learned more that I'm sure of. I felt the self help section in faucet stems was more than helpful. There's a ton of stuff here you won't find at the big box stores and if Crown Ace Hardware had my part I was needing I would have given them a 5 star rating”

“After several days of fruitless searching for a weldable, mild steel pull-off hinge, I finally came across one at a place called Austin Hardware! "Awesome" I think to myself, "I'll just drive down there and pick it up." Then I look up the address.....and it's in Dallas. *sad trombone noise* So apparently Austin Hardware is a national company that has a few warehouses scattered here and there, with the closest one being in Rowlett, just outside of Dallas. The Dallas location didn't have my hinges, so I called the CA warehouse and struck gold. Despite the misnomer, they're a fast, friendly company that specializes in difficult to find hardware. Of course, this comes with a few caveats: The website was designed in 2002 and it shows. Want to order online? Piss off. You're gonna pick up the phone and talk to a human being. Put your aspergers in your back pocket and just do it. Wanted detailed info on the item you're buying? Too bad. You get one, low-res photo and a stock number. That's it. Want to see the price online? Pound sand. I mean what do you think this is, 2014 or something?? I kid, mostly. Once I got folks on the phone, they were uber friendly and informative, and got my hinges to me quickfast. Now if they would just do something about that website...”
