They told me everything I needed to do, provided alternatives, were kind and patience. I don’t have words to express how helped up they were and the stress they took out of my shoulders. I had a unique question that couldn't be answered by online FAQs or the 800# staff, but Nidia listened to my situation, asked clarifying questions and then explained solutions to me clearly. She went above and beyond all expectations and showed true kindness. Nidia made the Pacific Beach post office look great and she deserves this 5-star review!”
“Tucked away with a small parking lot. Always seems to be parking though. Team inside was vey helpful.

“I like this post office a lot. I've been coming here for more than 35 years. Christmas can be busy; but overall the staff are professional, polite, and nice people. Some of them can make you smile. This post office had one employee who stood out. This exemplary employee was Troy. A very nice person who really looked out for the customers. He was transferred to another post office and is still missed. This is a quiet, clean and well run post office. My only wish would be that they would have the service pricing more prominent.”
“I sincerely enjoy this beautiful Post Office on E St, in downtown San Diego. The staff have always been friendly and courteous, upbeat and ready to help where they can. Today I visited to buy a Postal Money Order. I walked right up to the counter, no waiting in line, and had the extreme pleasure of having Ms. Carol at the window. What an excellent experience! She's so great, professional and has one heck of a beautiful smile. “Like most Military bases this base has a Post Office (staffed by civilians but mostly military personal) and is only accessible to those who have base privileges. No need to give it 1 star because you can’t access it. The staff is very kind and professional. I like to go to this location because it is clean, good parking and even when busy they move the line along quickly.”

“I cannot confirm that the employees are unfriendly, like many others said. Yes, they are really busy and maybe stressed. But I have an understanding about that, seeing that nearly the whole counter was buried under packages, boxes, mail... I had to wait for a while but not exceeding five minutes.”
“First time visiting! Went on a busy Monday morning around 930am. I had 30 envelopes that I had to mail out for Father’s Day. I waited in a line for less than 5minutes. The postal agent took good care of each envelope printing out stamps for each one. My experience overall was good. I highly recommend this location.”

“I had a good experience here. A nice gal, possibley the manager, let me drop off a bunch boxes of USPS envelopes that I did not need. She was prompt, attentive and helpful.”
“I had no issues. I went there at opening and there was only one person ahead of me. I had two packages to ship. Nice worker told me I can always grab free boxes if I sell anything more from Poshmark as long as it's under 5 pounds. Super quick service.”
“I needed help sending a package to Japan and making sure that I had the right address information entered in the correct boxes on the label and customs form since their address format is a little different than ours -- I didn't want to risk writing something wrong and have my package end up at the wrong place. The first woman I went to at the counter said she couldn't help me and turned me away, but ✨Mack✨ stepped in to save the day. He is from Japan and was very knowledgeable in helping me to decode the address and make sure I had everything correct. I was very nervous and messed up a few times but he was very patient with me. He is a treasure; I wish my local post office had someone as helpful and patient as him!

“Location is pretty strange and parking is odd, but overall had no issues picking up a package here. Wish they opened earlier. Got here 10 minutes before opening at 10am, an employee opened the door and got my package pretty quick. By the time they opened I had my package within 10 minutes.”
“The USPS is located in the back of the Hallmark store, and service has been quick and efficient in my experience. I have not had any issues with QR code drop-offs. They’re straightforward and easy to use. You may have to wait in line occasionally, but that is normal for any post office.
Some reviews mention being asked to purchase tape if their box/envelope isn’t sealed, but this is standard USPS policy. The staff should not be faulted for enforcing it. Arriving with a sealed package avoids the issue entirely, and purchasing tape if needed is simply part of being prepared, not a reason for a negative review.
Minus one star because the hours are inconvenient and inconsistent with other usps locations.”

“What I can say is that they have always been very helpful when it comes to locating my packages. Several of the couriers on foot have been great people. The post office also operates out of the annex and they appear short staffed all the time. I hate waiting too, but the staff that works here are human too. They are mountains more helpful than UPS or FedEx has ever been to me customer service wise.”
