“I called the direct # for the post office and spoke with the most incredible person, Nidia. I had a unique question that couldn't be answered by online FAQs or the 800# staff, but Nidia listened to my situation, asked clarifying questions and then explained solutions to me clearly. She went above and beyond all expectations and showed true kindness. Nidia made the Pacific Beach post office look great and she deserves this 5-star review!”

“I like this post office a lot. I've been coming here for more than 35 years. Christmas can be busy; but overall the staff are professional, polite, and nice people. Some of them can make you smile. This post office had one employee who stood out. This exemplary employee was Troy. A very nice person who really looked out for the customers. He was transferred to another post office and is still missed. This is a quiet, clean and well run post office. My only wish would be that they would have the service pricing more prominent.”

“Thankyou thankyou troy and darling for your help with my passport application. Every post office needs people like them. i didnt have a passport appointment last friday, i just went to ask information since it wasnt too far from my house. Troy told me that if i have my documents with me、they will help me since i was already there. I went back home to grab everything i need and when i got back to the post office, they were very extremely helpful, they helped me with a smile. Troy explained to me everything in details. I would give them a 10 star if i can. Thankyou”
“I had a great experience at this USPS location. The facility is very clean, spacious, and well organized, making the entire visit smooth and efficient. There is a massive parking lot with plenty of available spaces, which is a huge convenience.
The only minor issue is that the entrance into the parking lot can be a bit confusing, and the one-way traffic flow is not very clearly marked. Improved signage would make it easier for first-time visitors to navigate the property. Aside from that, everything was well maintained, and the overall experience was very positive.
The facility is clean, easy to access once you find your way in, and provides a pleasant customer experience. I would definitely return and recommend this location to others.”

Today I visited to buy a Postal Money Order. I walked right up to the counter, no waiting in line, and had the extreme pleasure of having Ms. Carol at the window. What an excellent experience! She's so great, professional and has one heck of a beautiful smile. Even though it’s now out of my way, I continue to keep my PO Box here because the staff are that incredible. Every single person who works here is kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. I’ve watched them deal with some truly difficult customers, and they still manage to stay calm, friendly, and even laugh it off. That says a lot.
Today really summed it up for me. I walked in and they greeted me by name — “Michael, here’s your box.” No line, no confusion, no hassle. They knew exactly why I was there and took care of it immediately.
In a time when customer service often feels rushed or impersonal, this place feels the opposite. You’re treated like a human being, not a number. That kind of consistency and care is rare, and it deserves to be recognized.
Hands down, the best post office I’ve ever been to. If the people who work here ever wonder if it makes a difference — it absolutely does.”

I have been waiting for a suitcase from Germany for a long time, and it falls on the weekend and falls on Monday, which is the Martin Luther King holiday. According to the Internet, the package has arrived at the post office, but it will not be delivered until the next day. But because I have to take the flight back to my country the next day, I specially go. On one trip, the postmen passing by enthusiastically asked me what kind of help I needed. After looking around for no goods, they said they would pay special attention to me. I received the package more than an hour later. I just happened to see the postman appearing in the sun. I think they are all angels”
“I love the staff that is on this post office lobby. On the other hand most of the delivery workers are in another level of laziness. I was supposed to get a package yesterday it wasn’t delivered because it was to heavy (20 pounds) so I came to the post office to pick it up and they told me that it wasn’t here that it was out for delivery again today so I waited outside of my home so when I saw the mailman I ask him for my package then I asked him why didn’t he left it yesterday he replied “ yesterday was my day off my supervisor covered my route” so yeah complaining to a supervisor won’t make a difference because they are also lazy”

“I do love the post office but Ryan is correct, just because a dog barks the mail man stop delivering the mail. Without any notice, we had to go to the office to find out, that because of our miniature dog barks we didn’t have our mail delivered.”
“The best way to receive mail and online shopping packages. Tip: You have to go in person, they have so many costumers that they don't answer the phone often.”
“I cannot confirm that the employees are unfriendly, like many others said. Yes, they are really busy and maybe stressed. But I have an understanding about that, seeing that nearly the whole counter was buried under packages, boxes, mail... I had to wait for a while but not exceeding five minutes.”

“Like most Military bases this base has a Post Office (staffed by civilians but mostly military personal) and is only accessible to those who have base privileges. No need to give it 1 star because you can’t access it. The staff is very kind and professional. I like to go to this location because it is clean, good parking and even when busy they move the line along quickly.”

“First time visiting! Went on a busy Monday morning around 930am. I had 30 envelopes that I had to mail out for Father’s Day. I waited in a line for less than 5minutes. The postal agent took good care of each envelope printing out stamps for each one. My experience overall was good. I highly recommend this location.”
