Verizon offers mobile, 5G home internet, and business services, with in-store appointments and online ordering available. Online orders can be picked up in store, delivered, or shipped. Customer service experiences vary significantly. Many reviews describe customer service as magnificent, consistently helpful, excellent, and awesome with great patience, leading to very pleasant experiences. The network is praised for reliable service and good reception. However, some experiences note that workers can sometimes seem distant, acting as though customers are burdensome. Some employees have been described as condescending and not very helpful, which can make the process unpleasant. There is a strong caution to be diligent and understand the fine print on promotions and phone upgrades, as deals may have specific policies. Prices are frequently cited as too high. While adding lines or promotions can save money, the actual cost of upgrading a phone may involve paying off a previous balance. A recommended approach is to buy a phone outright to avoid monthly charges, though this is costly. The process to resolve issues can sometimes take multiple days and conversations, but the outcome is often satisfactory. Overall, Verizon has its pros and cons, with reliable service but high prices, and customer service that ranges from excellent to poor depending on the visit and the individual employee.
Verizon stores have really gone downhill, or the cellphone industry has gone south. Choices were very limited and way to high pressure. They may be my carrier, but their service and stores need alot of work still.

The sales person was very matter of fact. I was looking to trade in my phone and buy a new one. I won't be going back to the Grossmont Verizon store!
