“I recently ordered a bday gift from Bella vita, but realized I had it shipped to my home address instead of the bday person's address. I called bella vita as soon as they opened, and was able to change the address without any issues. I spoke with Allegra, and she was so kind and thoughtful! When she found out it was a bday gift, she offered to wrap it! The gift arrived today and it was beautifully wrappe and even had a bow! The bday person sent me a pic. I am so impressed with the attn to detail and excellent customer service! Reminds me of shopping at Macy's in the 80s when they still had a wonderful gift wrap dept. “This is my go to spot for selling and buying used kids clothes. They also have women's clothes and I always find gems here. Great selection of kids toys and very sensibly priced. I use my store credit to buy all of the gifts for kid birthday parties throughout the year.”

“I’m so grateful to have discovered this little gem of a kids’ consignment shop. I’ve shopped here several times now, and I recently tried consigning too. Of course you’re not going to get top dollar with any consignment, but I really appreciate how carefully they go through everything, and how fair their pricing feels. For maternity and higher-end items they’ll consign, but for most pieces they offer cash or store credit on the spot, which is super convenient.
The prices are fantastic, with shirts and pants often starting around three or four dollars. Most of the brands are solid mid-range like H&M, Cat & Jack, Gap, and Old Navy, but I’ve also scored some great higher-end finds like Hanna Andersson and Little Sleepies. It has honestly become my number one place to pick up kids’ gifts, and I’ve recommended it to all my mom friends.
Unlike other consignment stores, especially the one on the same block, this place is truly wonderful and an absolute pleasure to shop at. Such a great resource, and the two ladies who run the shop couldn’t be lovelier. Exactly the kind of small business I’m thrilled to support.”

“This review is for the store, not the company. The store was well staffed on a Saturday morning and merchandise was neatly organized. They were very helpful in processing an online return (when the online customer service team was not). They also helped me out with setting up a fitting room so I could try on new stuff. Also the employees were all wearing the brand…always a good sign.”
“Clean, organized store with friendly staff. You can try on as many items of clothing in the fitting rooms as possible which is so nice they even have these cool screens that detect what clothes you have any tell you prices and other info such as color availability. Lots of items on sale.”

“I was there last week to get my granddaughter some pants and shoes. I am very disappointed with the other stores around this area supposedly selling children’s clothes.
I was very impressed with Carters selection and the quality of the clothes. I plan on going there today to get some shirts for her. She just jumped sizes. It’s time for a new wardrobe.”
“My favorite thrift store in the east bay. The selection is truly unbeatable and the volunteer staff are kind and dedicated. However, the new(ish) layout is totally inferior to the way it used to be. I’ve given it some time and an open mind, but I really just hate the way things are laid out now! I loved when the clothing racks and regular/vintage home goods were all on the left hand side and the fancier ceramics and home items were on the right. It’s hard to say why, but the flow of the new space is just really unpleasant. I’ve been back fewer times since the remodel because of the layout, it’s just no longer as relaxing of a shopping experience and is now much more crammed and stressful. I miss the old Bambino. While I’ll remain a loyal customer, I can’t say I’ll be seeking out trips to the shop as regularly. Hopefully they come to their senses and bring back the old layout. ?❤️”
“My favorite store in the Berkeley/Oakland area brimming with beautiful and unique gifts and useful and lovely items for home and to treat oneself. Nice staff that let you shop quietly without being fussed over which I really appreciate. I usually use up the maximum meter time and Christmas time is magical there.”
“My family and I love this place. Lauren’s Closet is a great way to pass along lightly used kids’ clothes, especially during those years when kids outgrow things way faster than they wear them out. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the prices feel fair both when buying and selling. It’s also nice knowing the whole model keeps good clothes out of landfills and makes reusing an easy choice.”

“All Uniqlo stores are an excellent look inside and outside. This one in Sunvalley Shopping Center is no exception. The store is spotless. All merchandise is very well displayed. Shopping in Uniqlo is an enjoyment! The store layout is pretty much the same as before the pandemic. The clothing they carry is similar to a few years ago. They're mostly very simple and comfortable designs. One of the significant differences between pre-pandemic and post-pandemic is the prices. The price of most of the items is higher than before. Also, they have way fewer items on sale and almost have nothing on clearance anymore! No more bargain items now! I still like comfortable clothes from Uniqlo. But I don't have to motivation to shop in the store anymore without the bargain items! Lol!”

The buyers are great and they have solid selections in all of the categories of the 'department store'. Nice to be able to get your kid some sneakers without having to "do" Walnut Creek. “Cute place full of a lot of clothes choices. The always have sales. Especially now for back to school. I was surprised by the holiday clothing options. It's so cute!The store is pretty small and very packed with shelves and merch. You may bump into something or someone. So go there first before other stores to be more comfortable. Worth a visit, though.”

I decided to go to the location at Sunvalley mall the other day and the store manager was very helpful. 5 stars for the store manager!! “I always enjoy visiting this store and envy those with tiny ones to buy for. It was my turn yesterday since a relative was thoughtful enough to have a baby. Although hard to choose, I selected an adorable and buttery soft outfit for spring and a teether disguised as a yummy piece of kale. It’s getting increasingly hard for brick and mortar places and I’m so glad there’s a place where I can see the items in person and feel how soft they are. Lots of delightful surprises!”
