“Has the best comics ever!! They have a lot of very good singles for a relatively cheap price and they have a lot of other comics as well and they even have half off 30 dollar comics ?. I’ve been here a couple of times and I have to say that the aesthetic of the store is really nice too! I could stay here for hours just looking at comics. If you want to buy board games or dice or something of the sort they also have those!”

“If you're a fan of cute gifts, home items, accessories, and all sorts of sweet miscellaneous goods, this store is a must-visit!
One of my favorite sections is the stationery-adorable pens, erasers, pencil cases, and stickers that make any desk setup more fun. On this visit, my heart was completely stolen by fluffy magnetic keychains-so soft and charming!
The store also has a nice selection of tote bags, perfect for everyday use.
For plush toy lovers, there's an amazing variety from the Nintendo universe, including Koopa Troopas, Mario mushrooms, Luigi, Bob-omb, Boo, Yoshi, Princess Daisy, and more. If you're a Hello Kitty fan, you'll also find plushies featuring characters like My Melody, Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, and Pompompurin!
Beyond plushies, there’s a great range of plastic figurines, including anime collectibles. The homeware section is equally impressive, offering mugs, glasses, bowls, mugs with lids and figurines, teapots, and thermoses.

“Sam is the best. I am a newbie and was really hesitant to drop a lot of money. Sam asked me a bunch of questions and we settled on kill team for my play style and budget. I thought that was it but then he continued to teach me all about the different teams and what was easiest and the most fun. Finally when i picked The T'au Empire Sam talked me through a build. I was already blown away by his customer service but as I prepared to leave he shocked me again. Sam invited me back for a learn to play once I was built and gave me his card.
The L2P was great. Sam explained the rules in easy to swallow sections while teaching someone else about the 11th edition rules and managing customers. He was friendly and helpful to everyone.
Sam is an amazing ambassador to the game and should be recognized for his passion and helpfulness. I will be back again”

“This place is the reason why my jewelry making skills have skyrocketed. I can spend all day in here, I'm so sorry if I only buy a few things but I just can't help but stare and touch all of those BEAUTIFUL stones!! I've learned so much about different semi precious gems through this store, as the woman who owns it has an insane collection of strands of things you've never even seen before! And i can't help but notice she has different strands of things, even the same beads, every time I visit. Speaking of this woman, who I'm assuming is the owner, she is a pleasant, beautiful woman who knows her craft VERY well. I love it here. I wish I could go here every single day. As soon as I hit the lottery or something, this is my first stop!!! I love you OC Beads! I do splurge sometimes so here are some of the gorgeous stones I've bought from here. There's laramar, Morganite, blue Moonstone (expensive but worth every penny), pink opals, LOTS of rhodonite (my favorite) and various pendants. I really really love this store very much!”

“I’m from NY and have visited this shop while visiting a friend who has moved out here. Of the two times I’ve visited I can tell the owners are passionate about gaming. Magic and Monsters has loads of singles, booster boxes, accessories, and collectibles for all the top games ( magic, yugioh, pokemon) the store is kept clean and doesn’t reek of nerd BO I’ve been all too familiar of smelling at other stores over the years. The owners were also robbed and still keep up a friendly positive attitude which I commend them for. Tournament prizing and sign-up prices are standard. Singles prices are also competitive with TCG Player . Good store for a visitor. Can’t speak on if it’s the same experience consistently however.”

“Drove from Apple Valley and stumbled across this store by accident. I visited on Thursday, April 27 2023 well after 11am. The sign said closed and the store was dark inside. 4 stars for tardiness. Once I'm able to go inside to shop, I will update my rating.”
“I started buying/collectingcards over 40 years ago and during that time , I never could pull anything fun and exciting!!! That was until I found my neighborhood card shop MVP 15 years ago now everything I pull is a case hit and banger . This place must have some connections with the suppliers because they get all the best cards in their packs and I have bought from all over the country from the different places I’ve lived . This husband wife duo who runs the show makes everything exciting and fun to shop in the store . I’ve spent over 10k easily here and don’t regret a thing. Gotta give a shoutout to Steve who works on certain days . He knows me by name and always gives me great recommendations”
“I absolutely love visiting Michal’s Arts & Crafts. Every trip is a great experience — the store is clean, well-organized, and always stocked with a wide variety of supplies for any project I’m working on. The staff consistently goes above and beyond with customer service, offering help and recommendations, I went for Halloween and pumpkin supplies. Whether I’m grabbing something simple or trying a new craft, Michaels is always my first choice. Highly recommend!”
“I’m writing this because somebody said the “old man will try to rip you off”. That is not true at all. Coast Philatelics is one of the few old-school stamp collector stores. It’s a family-run shop, and they’ve have been in business since the late 70s, I think. He sells everything cheap because the stamp collecting world has gone downhill. There just aren’t as many stamp collectors as there used to be. I love this place, it’s a little hole in the wall that’s floor to ceiling with stamps, accessories, unique pieces, and collectible paper. There used to be a lot of places like this back in the 80s, but this is one of the last. It’s worth your time to go in. (The shop is open limited hours, as the owner takes care of his health concerns.)”
