“Oh my goodness!!! The donuts are absolutely amazing. I ordered a white cake, chocolate frosting with coconut and a plain buttermilk. As a bonus the very sweet counter lady gave me 5 glazed donut holes for my order. I sampled a donut hole which was light and airy and perfectly sweet. A super clean bite of no greasy taste or heaviness. DELICIOUS. Since this is a review I will continue on with sampling. Next was the plain buttermilk bar. A lovely light crunch on the outside and a silky light inside with a wonderful taste of buttermilk...again DELICIOUS!!! I am aware at this point I am stuffing my face but for the sake of this review I will force myself to continue on. The white cake donut with chocolate frosting and a sprinkling of coconut was AMAZING AND DELICIOUS as well. Oh boy...let me have a minute. (Light jazz music playing)......Okay folks I'm back. Please stop in and get yourself some of the best donuts I've ever eaten. Enjoy!!!”
“Store area itself is a little small, While prices can get a little high they're decent for most of San Diego, a good mid-range price for gas in the county. Store manager Shannon (I hope I spelled her name right) is pretty awesome, as are most of the other employees. They're pretty knowledgeable about different topics, and seem to have a good idea of the area when I asked a different employee about small business shops I was looking for. Overall, great location right off the freeway, whoever happens to own the corner at the moment. Just don't expect to get a really big selection of snacks, the building is very small. Firewood and propane are available though!”

“I had some hickup on my usual pharmacy and my prescription. When finally sorted out, after 4 calls during the day they didn't have my prescription available, and had to wait until Thursday... How didn't they say they didnt have it in stock since the begining? I asked if any other Walgreens did... By this time is 8:40 pm.closing at 9pm... I called.lakeside location, and by 8:57 I had my prescription... outstanding service, Nina and Halina”
“John was very helpful and nice. He has such a good attitude and happy personality. I asked to microwave my hot dog and he made sure to wipe the inside and set it for me. Great customer service.But when I called to find out his name the lady who answered told me they where too busy when I asked for the male clerks name and then hung up. Maybe she thought I was an upset customer idk. That was kinda rude. So I went back to find out his name in person.Thank you John for being great in customer service!!!!”

“I usually come super early like 3 or 4 am for gas and Celsius energy drinks. They always have the 2 for 5$ deal which is great. Sal is usually the one working and he is always friendly and helpful. Recently I used my AM PM app and was able to get 4 Celsius for 6$. That’s a killer deal right there. Usually AM PM is the lowest in gas prices with my GasBuddy Card. It saves me the haste of going to Costco. I recommend this place for dead and gas. Just make sure you download the app and sign in.”

I had a return that I thought I wasn’t going to be able to complete but while I was in line for my scoop of ice cream she went above and beyond and was able to finish my return. Service like hers I rarely see anymore and I needed to make sure that if anyone goes to Rite Aid Lakeside Betty will definitely be a great help!!”
