“Actually these five stars go to the staff at this Santee, CA, branch. Especially Kendrick. On several occasions he has serviced our needs for various transactions. He is pleasant and thorough in handling our needs. Navy Federal is truly the place to bank for any savings and CD accounts. They offer a fantastic return for our money. Our only complaint with the bank is that they handle most things through a third party which tends to lag. We just got so spoiled with our previous bank that everything was same day (bill payments and Zelle) Not so here. Like I said the staff is the best!!! Thank you Kendrick for your great service!”

“These folks go above and beyond. I connected with them for a solar loan after my credit union of 25 years, Navy Federal, turned me down because my employment changed 18 months ago and they insist on 24 months of same employment. I applied for solar loan with Wheelhouse and all my other qualifications out weighed my length of employment and they didn't question my length of employment at all. In addition, their high interest rates on checking and term certificates - combined with their personal attention to details, I am preparing to move all my accounts to Wheelhouse. “This is to commend Larry Fagan, Branch Manager, Poway, CA for stellar Customer Service. We have been members for 45+ years. We relocated to San Antonio recently and prefer to keep our long-standing relationship with Cal Coast. We live in unprecedented times for sure and I have discovered that the banking system does not have the flexibility of yesteryear. We can thank the Dot.Com era, scammers and other unscrupulous actors for that. But I digress. On more than one occasion over the past few months, Larry demonstrated genuine care and concern for his Customer; he helped me conduct business with Cal Coast remotely. Today, Larry took the extra time to advise that an "In-Network" credit union here in San Antonio may provide a solution when I need to conduct business locally. I know that I can rely on Larry to create solutions for his Customer. Because of him, it is comforting to know that in an emergency, I have a local credit union resource. “Had a situation where my bank account number was stolen from the mail. Although there was no avenue to address the problem through the weekend. :( and it took 25 min to get through to fraud first thing on Monday morning.... I was then referred to my local branch to set up new accounts. And that's where this review begins. The Santee branch was very accommodating and helpful. Sofia set things up. It was a long process, but She was very compassionate and efficient in getting things straightened out. She also brought in her manager, Richard, who was equally helpful and professional and seemed to be very knowledgable. I also dealt with him the next day, when I needed to bring in my husbands signatures, and he expedited getting me what I needed. A very good, pleasant experience given a disconcerting situation.”
“Credit Unions are generally less predatory than bigger banks. I recently was about to go into overdraft about $200. What Mission Fed did instead was automatically transfer the exact $$ amount needed from my savings to my checkings, so that I would have the full amount paid with a zero net. Avoided overdraft, and then replinished the savings account on my own time. Excellent bank.”

“Although I am not a member of this credit union, I have been there many times over the last few years due to "shared branching" (Co-Op Network) as my (now former) credit union was located outside of the San Diego area. Every time that I have ever gone into MyPoint CU, I get treated with respect and no one has ever tried to pressure me into switching to their credit union. I have been helped in the past by friendly people and each time, I am in and out of there within a short amount of time. I am very happy that their ATMs take cash deposits! I would not hesitate to return there in the future.”
