“I went in today because there was some fraud on my debit card. Shout out to Navy Federal Fraud for catching it quickly. I was alerted to the problem through text. I called and sure enough there were charges I didn't make or authorize. Today I went in at the suggestion of the fraud department to get a new debit card. They printed it off very quickly. I asked the teller if it was common to have fraud here in San Diego (we just moved here). He took the time to explain how fraud happens and why he recommends tap to pay and apple pay vs inserting your card. I learned so much! He definitely went above and beyond. I wish I remembered his name. I was very impressed. Great job Navy Federal! Thank you for being so helpful! :)”

“I haven't been back to Navy Federal in a while since I've been using my other banks more often, and unfortunately, my last experience at this branch wasn't the best. But today's visit completely changed that.
Christopher, the young man who helped me at the Mira Mesa Blvd location near Black Mountain Rd, was wonderful. He was friendly, patient, positive, and genuinely warm. His customer service reminded me of the good old days when going into a bank felt personal and you felt like your business was truly appreciated.
Employees are the face of a company, and people like Christopher make a difference in how customers feel about the Navy Federal brand. I'm really glad to see this location doing better by hiring people who understand the importance of good customer service.

A special thank you to Melvina, who helped both me and my kid open our accounts. She was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the different account options and special promotions available. My 7-year-old was especially excited about the youth savings program and absolutely loves the piggy bank he received. “The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I use a mobility scooter. Unfortunately, it is too big for the little elevator that they have for wheelchairs. I only have to go down 4 steps. Again, the staff are friendly. The location works too, and it has a walk-up ATM.”
“I have been a member of Wheelhouse Credit Union in downtown San Diego for over twenty years. They have ALWAYS been helpful. If you want personalized service, this is definitely the place to go. I recently had my user name and password stolen. Obviously wanted to change account info. as soon as possible. Delia K. and Deanna P. to the rescue. They came up with a solution to my problem. They fixed my accounts and all the worry associated with stolen info. They not only resolved the situation but stayed long after the credit union had closed to make everything right. Talk about customer service! How many other banks or credit unions would do that? Just amazing.”
