“We got a puppy after being pet free for many years. We were very concerned about finding a good veterinary clinic. The vets we had for our first two dogs had retired and we tried two different clinics with our last dog, and we're not happy with the care at all.
We are so happy to have our new puppy under the care of the staff at Jamacha Pet Vets. You can just tell they love animals. All the techs had an instant connection with Hannah and Dr. Wettergren was great. She gave us lots of good information and explained things well.”

“I've been coming to Cuyamaca for many, many years, and have never once had a bad experience. The staff and doctors here are way above and beyond OUTSTANDING! 7 OUT OF 5 STARS :) The staff go out of their way to make sure my furbaby has the very best experience possible and the care there is very top notch. But with all of that, the doctors go out of their way to keep the costs down, and unlike some things I hear about other vets, they dont try to upsell you to get the bill bigger. They truly and sincerely care about my fur family, and they've demonstrated that to me repeatedly over all of these years, so I just want to send a big THANK YOU to them all!! I'll never go anywhere else!”

“Our pets are our world, and finding a veterinarian you truly trust is so hard. Dr. Fransioli is absolutely amazing. We have two cats, Roy Kent and POTUS Bader Ginsburg, and a dog named Abbey, and they absolutely ADORE Dr. Fransioli! She always remembers the little details about them, which makes us trust her care completely.
The entire experience at Rancho San Carlos Vet is top-notch — communication is excellent, scheduling is easy, the online portal is convenient for appointments and prescription food, and we love the text and call reminders. They even follow up after visits to check on how our pets are doing. All of their techs are amazing!
On a personal level, Dr. Fransioli remembers details about our lives too, which means so much to us. We love her so much that both me and my wife go to appointments just to see and catch up with her! We couldn’t recommend her more!”

“We used to go to another local vet but they could never get us in and were horrible about returning our phone calls. So we switched to singing hills and are so happy we did. We have 5 pets and live in the country so there is always a pet who is having a problem. Singing hills has always been there for us. They get us in right away. We’ve never heard “sorry we just can’t see them” they always have got us in. And they are reasonable. They talk through all options with us and don’t force high priced treatments on us. We are so happy we switched! Highly recommend!”

The next day we had a very unexpected emergency with our cat and they handled it like champs. Explained they were booked but could do lab work still and have a technician look at it.

“All of our cats and dogs through 25+ years have been cared for by Dr Singh or his daughter now also a vet. They provide knowledgeable, companionate, common sense care and don’t go over board in costs and procedures. The office assistants are wonderful as well. As we age, letting go of our beloved pets becomes particularly hard. They provide a gentle procedure where you can spend the last moments saying goodbye, as well as offering a cremation services that can include a beautiful keepsake box for the ashes if you wish. I thank them of their compassion and understanding through all these years, and making a very difficult thing to do just a little easier. Thanks you for taking such good care of our sweet Smokie girl.”
“From the instant I called the Advanced Care Veterinary Hospital, I was consoled and relieved by Maddie's empathy as she scheduled my appointment. When I arrived on Friday evening, I was taken into an exam room right away, and the tech, Sarah, very sweetly greeted my ailing kitty. After taking a history and then sharing it, I met Dr. Maret. I was immediately put at ease by her calm and friendly manner. The physical exam was completed, and all of the staff made sure my kitty was treated with care. High praise for this practice. “On the recommendation of a Dog Park friend, I just had my first visit to San Carlos Animal Hospital. I had a very positive experience from setting up an appointment over the phone all the way through the end of taking care of billing.
Even though my Saint Bernard Kodama was just in to help with a simple problem, the veterinarian I worked with dr. Sawyer, was extremely detailed, attentive, and really took his time. At the front desk I worked with Jessica who was phenomenally helpful.
As a result of this really positive experience they now have a permanent client for many years to come.”

“My golden retriever had a large skin tag on his elbow that was starting to get irritated and change color. I went to my main vet Feathers and Fur in La Mesa and they wanted to charge me over 3,000 dollars for removal. Instead I went to El Cajon Valley vet hospital and they removed the skin tag and stitched it up in under an hour total. For 265 dollars. Yes I said 265 dollars for visit and removal. Great atmosphere and even better service. 10/10 recommend. Now my pup is recovering, and my bank account isn’t empty lol.”

“I went to see Dr. Wang on the recommendation of a friend. I have a German Shepperd and very particular about where i take him. It was to say the least the best experience. Most Vets come in like their hair is on fire and leave as soon as possible. Not Dr. Wang she took her time to get to know me and my dog and proceeded to the exam only when she felt he was comfortable. It is the welcome unusual almost like the old times when people and animals mattered more the just turn them and burn them and bank the money. I rarely write a review but from the receptionist to the thecs to the Dr. they were nothing short of excellent. From an over protective dog dad i highly recommend their practice.”

“I recently brought my cat, James, to this veterinary hospital for a heart scan after he was diagnosed with a grade 3 heart murmur. At the very beginning, there was a small hiccup with scheduling — I was told I would receive a call back, and after a few days I hadn’t heard anything. I ended up reaching out via email, and once I did, everything completely turned around.
From that point on, the care and communication were exceptional. The team was extremely apologetic about the delay and truly went above and beyond to make sure I felt supported and informed every step of the way. They followed up before and after the appointment, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process.
I especially want to give a huge shout-out to Justine, who took incredible care of me and James. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a positive experience and genuinely made up for that initial misstep. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made a stressful situation so much easier.
I’m very grateful for the care James received and truly appreciate how much effort the team put into making things right. Thank you for taking such great care of my boy.”
“Fabulous staff and services. We do alot of traveling but will continue bringing out Lab here. Found them about a year ago and by far it is the best vet we have been to. He’s never in a hurry with my pets, he asks probing questions just to make sure that everything is good with your pet, he and his team know that your pet is a valued member of the family and each pet is their primary concern! I could go somewhere else, but why, the prices are fair and competitive and they know you want value for your dollar, they will discount bundled services and they even have weekend shot clinics where the vaccines are cheaper!!!!! “I am incredibly thankful for the wonder care provided by Dr. Drew and Dr. Schlegel for our dog, Kona. At one point, I really thought we had to put our poor girl down when things became more complicated for her but they literally saved her life.
